And yet a search of this number doesn't bring up UPS so perhaps you called this number & reached a scammer pretending to be UPS. Or perhaps you're here to shill.

Got a message from caller ID: Toll Free Call 866-248-7643. Caller spoke very quietly and said his name was either Oggy or Ozzie? couldn't hear his name. He said he was from UPS and became our companies account manager in January 2021. He wanted us to call him back at 866-248-7643 ext 1132101. Looks like these scammers are just using new extensions and names. As I can see from these messages FRAUD!!!

I received a call today came in from 1-866-248-7643.....I did not answered and She said was Erica from UPS looking for information on my company.  They said to call phone 866-248-7643  ext 1132251 or email her at eroebke@UPS.com.  I check on line and this number said it is spam.  I also try to talk to a real person at UPS and I could not find ANYONE that was willing to help me.  I see that both UPS is not concerned, but based other online comment I feel it os spam looking to personal info!  Unsafe!  How gullibly do they think we are?

I received a call from "J.J" from UPS, asking for our bookkeeper by her first name. He claimed that he was a new account rep for our UPS account. We DON'T have a UPS account, as we pay with our company credit card when we do shipping, which is rarely as it is. Even if this was a legitimate caller, he lied to get past the gatekeeper, and get the bookkeeper on the phone. I curtly told him that we don't have a UPS account, and hung up. He then CALLED BACK, asking to leave his contact info. I hung up again.

Just got a call into our SE Wisconsin office from a very pushy/rude guy saying he was with UPS and was our new account rep.  We have a UPS but haven't used it in years.  It's pretty much inactive.  Was very suspicious and had zero interest in speaking with him.  I explained to him that I was alone and had to take another incoming call...The dude called me back and yelled at me for dropping his call for another one.  Gave me 866-248-7643 as a callback number.
