- jodi replies to annoyed personmy husband was a debt collector and they work on commission and alot of times will do what ever it takes to get that debt up to fraudualy portraying their self as a family member or saying someone has won a prize ect...they under a lot of pressure to perform and will do what ever it takes ...he said he quit because he was encouraged to lie and even threaten to show up at someones door step...so yes it maybe a job but there is no excuse for rudeness on the collectors behalf and if they are told to no longer call that number by law that same person can't call back...i have got repeated calls for a different person because they had the same number at one time and the collector still won't listen i am not paul ogden...never have been a male and never will be never even knew someone by that name...
- Happy ChikThese baboons called my work today, left the auto message. I called back and spoke to some guy that literally could not even speak. Telling me I owe $2200+ and how do I want to pay that today??? Who the f*** are you?! And for what?!?! Usually I'm very confrontational but I kept my cool with the grace of 10,000 angels holding my tongue. It sounded like a party - people in the background whooping & yelling - I kept asking "Richard aka D*ck" what the alleged debt was for? Finally he tells me it's his client - Palisades - so how you gonna make payment? WTF is Palisades? Where are they? What is this really about - a scam? He threatens or what he thought was a threat that he would have to go get his supervisor. Please do A**HOLE! Tells me I'll have to hold for a few minutes. Go for it! Comes back - he doesn't have anyone or anything. I very firmly told him this was my place of business so do not call me again until you have sent documentation. "we're not allowed to send documentation. but I'm trying to help you. this will come back and bite you.....unless you pay on it today". I lost it a bit and said in a very matter of fact tone "Richard, I work entirely too hard for my money to give it away to someone I do not know or a debt that is not mine - PERIOD!" He then says it's for a Mastercard opened in 1999. Ok. Put the crack cookies away. Goodbye D*ck, I mean Richard. I'm sending a certified letter and looking into the rights in Maryland and filing a complaint. They've called my home also. Know wonder people snap on these [***].

- BobPFMS is a collection agency that buys a lot of charged off debt. They started calling me about an 18 year old debt they bought from Discover Card. When I informed the nice collectors that a state court had ruled against Discover and this was not a valid debt, I was told I was going to have to pay it regardless.

- Nero| 1 replyLooks like a new company has taken over the number. It is no longer a debt collection number as these past posts show. The call I got from this exact number was for a company called i-3 Group, which from the voicemail and their website www.i-3group.com looks like they are a student loan company trying to become maybe a sallie mae competitor for financial aid ie another predatory student loan lender. My advice would be cautious with them.
So lt;dr not a red flag phone number anymore but definitely a bright yellow flag on this number now!- Caller: i-3 Group

- LennyHung up, no message.
- Lea VelasquezEbony from FMS called my brother to collect information on me such as address, phone number, and employment information. I have no idea who or what this company is. When I called them they hung up on me. I have no idea how they would've even gotten my brother's phone number.

- Daunte replies to NeroNo you're absolutely wrong. That particular company i-3group is actually a student loan counseling service and they helped me with my dept of ed account. I can tell you with 100% confidence they're not a scam. They never once asked me for money or said that 'I had to pay' anything. That person only gave me options on lowering my payments or not paying the account at all for 12 mnths with eventual loan forgiveness. I've been on the program for 2 years now and I no longer receive letters or phone calls for the federal government about my student loans. They really helped me alot. I'm not writing this to try and change anyone's minds I'm just saying that company i-3group is legit and the real deal.
- Anon59I keep getting calls from this number. The caller Id says a university name which I never attended or sallie Mae which I have no student loans. I do not answer. They just called 6 times in 30 mins.
