They used my former married name from over 13 years ago...idiots!

They sent me the same text message that they've been trying to reach me. They gave a reference number and told me to contact them at 866-304-5567. I texted back "Who are you and what do you want"....no reply....SCAM! They used my former married name from over 13 years ago.

Received a text from 855-908-3318 says has been unsuccessful in reaching you, please call immediately reference QDX5744 at 866-304-5567. Nothing better to but to worry honest people's lives...

They told me it was a paid loan that I had in 2016 and I never took out a paid loan

Same thing as Gloria, its a scam, it was some hokey guy with an accent. I laughed and told him his scam sucks, he immediately got off the phone with me.

Got a text asking for a call back. I called and told the guy on the other end that this call was being recorded. I asked for the guys name and he hung up. 100% sure it's a scam.

Try to convince you that you owe them money, Payday Loan Scam!!!

I got a text from this number, telling me someone has been trying to reach and to call this number. I have absolutely no idea who it is and they don't tell me!

Same text message as everyone else, i will not call them if they can't identify themselves.

I reported it to the FTC and I am going to make a police report because they have my information.  They also stated I owed on a Payday from 2011 in a state I moved from a year before.  I have never had a payday loan/

Received a text today stating they have been unsuccessful in trying to reach me. So.....I called back and I they advised me I owe a debt from a payday loan that was taken out in 2011.  I interrupted the guy and told him I have never taken out a pay day loan.  He proceeded to tell me we need to settle this matter I told him again I have never taken out a payday loan so I am not sure what he is referring to.  He rattled off my name and last four and previous address which were wrong.  I called back the next rep asked me why was I calling back repeating myself wasting time.  I reported it to the FTC and am also going to report it to the my local pd.  It is def a scam make sure your credit report is lock or frozen.  The information they rattle is information you can google or pay to obtain.  They want to verify actual information to proceed with what ever fuckery they are attempting to do.

Received text and when called supposedly collecting for cashnet usa payday loan asked for proof no return call yet.

Just received a text saying we been trying to reach you I wonder how they got my info

I did call this number and the answered with a company name. I gave them the reference number and sais what is this all about. I do not have time to mess with you, she responded that we will settle this in court then and hung up.
My Credit report which I check weekly and has alerts set has no record of this on my credit. FRAUD.

Same thing happened to me Same caller and text from number 855-908-3318.  Stated Our office has been unsuccessful in reaching you.  Please ref. XXXXXX and call us back immediately at 866-304-5567.  I called. Said is was for something from 2011 that I did not even have.  I told them, even if I did owe something they were past statute of limitations as well. They hung up. Seem like a scam.  Don't fall for it.

Text message received stated they have been unable to reach me by phone and to give them a call with the reference number. Called and she verified my information, I didn’t even need to provide her with the reference number she just looked up my number I was calling from, asked her what this is about, she did not provide what company she worked with or where she’s from. She only mentioned this is a debt collector on a payday loan in the amount of $1,3XX.XX taken in 2014. (She provided previous address but different city - which wrong because I didn’t live there in 2014) I replied I have no knowledge or never taken a payday loan in my entire life ever. I’m not paying for anything I didn’t do. She replied and said it’s my fault and hung up on me.
