SCAM SCAM. Try to say you owe money for a payday loan you never took out. They are dirty and get nasty on the phone. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got this call too. Reported the # to the FTC.

Got a call from DDS Solutions, Julien Young, thick accent. Total scam!

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

A lady claiming to be with a company named GDS Services keeps calling my husband, my father and myself claiming I owe money from a defaulted payday loan. The first time I called, she asked for me to verify my social. I refused and she hung up. The second time I called her back, I asked the lady for documentation and she got angry and hung up on me. The last time, I told her I was reporting her to the FTC and to quit harassing my family. She stated that she would continue to harass my family until I paid then hung up.
I also reported the # to the FTC and the BBB. I suggest you all do the same!

Call showed up on my caller ID as "+12045 Egypt". Let call go to voicemail, a Juilan the spoke, saying that this is attempt to collect, gave a case# and left call back#866-313-4618. Ending call will be contact place of employment or residence.

I was told by a heavily accented lady who was very nasty that I owe $7000 well since I have no dept I know this to be a total lack of honesty. I hung up on her and she called me back making threats.

They called my daughter who lives 1,112 miles away from me and has for 9 years, and told her that they needed to get in touch with me over two very serious matters and if she did not give them all of my information, they were going to send the sheriff's department to my house and take me to jail and they were also going to take her  because she was not co-operating. They wanted all of my information immediately. When she would not give them my information, they asked her for my sons information so they could talk to him to see if he knew where I was and would talk to them about me.They also told her HE would wind up going to jail as well if he did not tell them where I was and whatever.

That is a criminal enterprise masquerading as a debt collector.  Read my other post.

I got a call from a female with a name of Christina Sutton (heavy accent and spoke rapidly and repeated statement three times). Statement: Two serious allegations against you (gave my first and last name on a landline belonging to my relative, whom I don't reside with) and are being sued. Can contact and come to my place of employment. Important you contact us at 866-313-4618. Gave a reference number containing seven digits. **Phishing Scam to collect as much info on a person for identity theft.**

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

left message about collecting money owed - couldn't understand really, because they talked so fast and couldn't speak very good English.  Gave a case number and told me to call.  Sounded threatening, but couldn't really understand them.

Hey I was just done the same way a couple of days ago....guy left message telling me to call this # and told me I could be wage garnished and taken to court for some payday loan i know i did not take out with a JP Morgan bank....i told him i wasnt payin and he told me good luck in court! LOLOLOL!

Received call from this number at work - they will stop at nothing. Told them to stop calling received 2nd call

these people scared my father in law into thinking I was in trouble with the law...so angry!! Lady caller with heavy accent not only called my cell phone and left a message, she called my home which is not a number that's ever given out. Message as follows:" -this is Michelle Brown calling from the division of pre-trial (inaudible) ?? from the state of Oklahoma. We are calling about a returned item from your bank. It is very important we speak with you immediately. In the event any attempts to contact you is unsuccessful, we will have to render a decision that is not in your favor and forward your information to the three major credit bureaus check systems and other reporting agencies. Call out legal department at 866-313-4618 and make reference to your case number. Failure to comply will result in more allegations being filed against your social security number. and immediately with your county clerks office. You have officially been notified."

I immediately called the bank who have no record of any of this. I am really angry these type of people who try and prey on others by scaring or bullying others into giving out info. Luckily my father  gave no info, but I am reporting to the state dept they are being mis-represented. Total scam, do not fall for it!!!

Just called me a Brianna Green with an accent a mess I guess she's looking for Christmas money or something it won't happen here called from 866-313-4618. I am well ahead of these scammers which there more grammar they all need to be arrested. SCAMMERS!

Called my place of employment(Police Dept)  and left a message,  told them I owe money. They left this number and when i called it said "general voicemail). I told not only to not call my job again, but it is the Police Dept!! We don't take things like this lightly. I don't owe anything and can't wait to talk with personally

Call from GDS solutions, Emily, said she had two urgent matters. Funny, she called me two months ago, same woman different company, LLC something. I filed a report with the FTC and I will again. They need to be stopped.
