We keep receiving calls from this number, but when we answer, it is a recording that tells me to wait.  Um...No!  After only the second time, we stopped answering, but they keep calling, and the calls keep getting more frequent.  They called 4 times yesterday.  It merely lists the number and "800 Service" on caller ID.

My husband just called the number back and it is some place called "Card Services".  I have spoken with them in the past (when it wasn't a machine dialing).  They are not affiliated with any particular bank.  They are trying to sell some type of credit card service.  We have reported them to the do not call registry for a violation since I asked them not to call when I spoke to the guy a couple months ago AND we have been listed in the do not call registry since March (it only takes up to 30 days to become active on the list).

I recommend anyone on the do not call registry (www.donotcall.gov) receiving calls from this number to report them as well.  It is a $10,000 fine for each infraction.  Maybe if they get fined enough money, it will put them out of business.  :-)

this #calls constantly - called back FIA Card Services - it is a solicitor trying to sell credit cards - called back was polite - wanted my phone number - asked who they were - after I told her I have already requested to be taken  off their list and I was filing a complaint with the do not call registry - she still wanted my name and still tried to sell me her stupid card!! Nerve..I then informed AGAIN to remove me or I will be seeking the $10,000.00 PER CALL violation..we shall see

Yea it was Bank of America alright.  They called me to tell me that I missed 2 dollars on my account last month.  I told her, I paid what the teller told me to pay.  I'm like you guys just wasted my time and burned how much money on your bill to tell me i missed $2???? Great use of resources there!

Being that I like to vent- I picked up the phone after numerous calls daily, as to which I neither answered or when answered would hear anyone until after a short pause and then someone spoke. I discussed at length my financial situation when I anticipated to make my two month late payment..I then proceeded to explain to the caller from FIA - that I would appreciate if the company would hold off calling untill I could make my anticipated payment which would be in two to three weeks. The caller from FIA said she was going to call back in five days, to 'check on payment status' - kinda of saying to me- yeah thanks for pouring out your time but I don't think I want to believe you and we have our own agenda and what you say doesn't matter!! I am unemployed and fight to make EVERY payment every month..if I am a little late - with a good history of paying my debt to the company - they should have the ability and concern for what I say...I think that they are too busy harassing people instead of trying to find ways that a consumer could actually pay them.. that is why I begin here in writing my complaint...
I  will next go here: http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/fair-debt-laws.aspx

If I don't recognize a phone number calling in, I don't answer the phone.  After getting at least two calls/day from this number for WEEKS, without ever answering the phone, I finally looked up the number online and found all of the comments here.  I've never had a Bank of America card, and I am sick of getting calls from this number.  I certainly am not interested in any scam credit card offer or haggling with somebody over an alleged credit card bill I don't owe.  Tonight, I finally answered the phone but instead of saying anything, I immediately blasted an an air horn directly into the phone receiver and if somebody  eventually got on the line, they got an ear full.  I will blast the air horn from now on every time I get a call from this number until the calls eventually stop.  I don't play nice with scam artists or liars.

I have been getting these as well.  They say they are from Bank of America, however, they then ask me to verify they have the correct person by having me tell them my address.  Wrong answer.  I have told the last three that I will not give that  information over the phone to someone who is calling me.  I told the last one that I had already paid my bill.

The creepy person "looking for a better prey" is also fun to do. I include all sorts of games I'd like to play with them; ideas I've read in books, seen in movies, or just dream up.
They deserve every thing they get.
