NCO Debt collection is also located in Pennsylvania and has one of the worst reputations these bad boy scammers are earning.  They refuse to honor legal Cease & Desist letters among other offenses. Maybe if the respective AG of your state and FCC get enough noise, they will shut these unscupulous scam operations down. Heaven only knows why they are calling a business phone to collect a personal debt from someone who does not or never has worked here.

Recorded message from TransWorld Systems calling a business in reference to a debt owed by a person who does not and never has worked here, just like the above post.  I realize it's the lazy days of summer but I don't think this is the kind of phishing expedition one envisions in relation, do you?

i get about 15 calls a week from these people only picked up on them once. never got to speak to anyone so i refuse to take their calls

I receive the same Computer call every day, night and weekend...they changed their recording and it begins saying that the law now requires them to identify their company and that this is a Debt Collection call....!!

It seems NCO has another name too...My message said TRANSFERRAL SYSTEMS INC. & to call CALL CHRIS HENDRIX AT 1-866-381-9807. (maybe it's TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS--buzzy sounding recording) We have always paid everything off early, have excellent credit ratings, and a debt collection agency is calling every week!?!? I'm not sure if it as a scam or someone gave them our number to throw collectors off track. The other message was more threatening stating, "...we will do whatever it takes to collect...." ANYONE KNOW WHO I CAN REPORT THESE GUYS TO???

Got this RoboCall today December 31st at 6:00 am in the morning, today most businesses are closed, how come this people are still calling?

They called with a very faintly audible pre-recorded message. Mentioned my father's name and said to press one if this was his number. My father has dementia and is in a care facility and gets a monthly shipment of catheters, so I thought it was related. I'm guessing this is coming from CCS Medical, the world's other major pain in the butt. My mom has settled up catheter bills with them but they apparently turned this over to collection before that was done. Woman on the phone who never said what the call was about wanted to talk to whomever had power of attorney for my dad. I said I did not and, at that point was so annoyed, I said, "bye bye."

I've been getting calls from these people ALL THE TIME! I have no idea how they got my number. They keep asking for different people, and I get so annoyed. I'm 12, and it's like "Why are they calling me?"

Transworld, not sure what they want......I don't owe money to anyone. I guess they are trying to collect an old debt which is 15 years old..!!!

These people call and yes they do buy-up old debts, caller i.d. takes care of them.

I'm 17. I have no bills, debts, cards or expenses. Why the hell am I getting these calls? Ryan Carpenter is the name when they call me.

I'm getting phone calls from a woman who says she's with Transworld Systems, Inc. and the call back number says "unknown number" on it.  The message says to call Ryan Carpenter back about a debt. I'm not answering it. I don't owe anyone anything!

If you are lucky enough to live in TEXAS, and someone buys a debt from a company (the original) the person who owes the debt is no longer liable for for the debt. You are only liable for the debt to the original company. This excludes mortgages and vehicle debts. However if the original company turns it over to their collection company you still owe the debt, it is only when the debt is sold outside of the company. Hope this helps some of you all....

These messages started over 5  years ago, all the time day or night.  My wife is elderly, bedridden, Parkinsons's Disease, frequently woken up by these [***].  No one answered on how to get them to stop, Is a lawyer in line?   How about a class action suit from everyone here.   Any lawyer want to represent this group and shut these people up?  Where's a good lawyer when you need one?  I owe no one nothing, everything I own has been paid for totally.

The thing that bothers me most is not being able to shut them up.  They even leave the same message on the answering machine over and over and the phone rings at least once a day, sometimes more.  There is no way to contact them, they,,,,, are careful to not leave any identification as to who or where they are.

Have received numerous calls from this company over time.They call 7 days per week and from 8 am to 10 pm.They want to know if you are ready to pay the bill in full or begin payments now.Very persistent and harrassing debt collector who states they will continue to persue this matter until paid in full no matter what you tell them.
