- Caller: N/A
- Tyler| 1 replyI have been receiving calls from this number claiming to be an outreach program to help qualified people pay their medical payments. I do not owe the bill they are claiming I owe. I was in an automobile accident when I was 16 and am not responsible for any bills accrued before I was an adult.
- Caller: Couldn't understand what they said
- Call type: Debt collector
- ayrazThey are calling to see if anyone will answer before putting you on their call registry. Once you answer you can expect a lot of scammers calling you.

tried calling back , says connected with no ringing, I thought that my phone was not working properly,
my phone is fine, will drop the matter, and wait if a shark recovery lawyer is sending me a letter.- Caller: 866 402-3630
- zardac replies to Joni| 1 replyMy wife had to go to the ER a couple of weeks ago...I wonder if they're able to identify targets through data collected by the hospital or insurance company, or if this was merely a zemblanious coincidence.
- Mrs. P| 1 replyI just got a call this morning from this number. This must be a SCAM and I really don't like the fact that a company such as this has gotten my personal information from a hospital or hospital agent. If they did their homework they would know that I am set-up already under a legit entity. But I guess this is what they want the consumer to do, call on them to be scammed out of their information and money.
I didn't answer the call but they did leave a message stating who they were and what hospital system they got my info from.
Please don't fall for it.- Caller: Outreach Program
- RoKphishSome type of medical payment scam. Recorded call purposely garbles name of who they are trying to reach. then want you to call back. Yeah ... right.
- Call type: Debt collector
- PRESTON replies to zardaci was also recently admitted to ER and had surgery performed.
- jo&liMy niece is in the Hosp so I guess that is why they are calling. I have been getting calls from other scammers too. Guess I'm on their list because I talked to one of them

- ChrissiannI have no medical bills, yet I received a call from these people today 6/2/15, 12:13 pm. I am sure they are trying to scam me.
If they call a bunch of random people, they are sure to hit somebody who has some recent medical bills. Those are the ones they are targeting for scam. - SharonI didn't answer the call. I was also in the ER recently...do I detect a theme here???
- ToscasKiss| 6 repliesCardon Outreach is an entity that is supposed to help people get charity assistance with their medical bills. They left me a message about that, with their number to call back. When I called, I was put through an automated set of questions, for screening, but was not able to speak to anyone (was on hold for awhile, and then left a message to get a call back). Their website is http://www.cardonoutreach.com.
I was assured by an agent in the billing office of the hospital where I recently got ER care, that Cardon is an authentic organization doing this work, not a scam. She also said that Cardon is located in the same place where her office is, in Irving, TX (though the hospital I was taken to is in another town). Take a look at their site, and see what you think.- Caller: Cardon Outreach
- BigA replies to ToscasKiss| 1 replyThe first thing that stands out is that Irving Texas is 225 miles away from the address on this companies web site.
- ToscasKiss replies to ToscasKiss| 1 replyLooked a bit further on their site, and it looks like they are more focused on helping hospitals/medical providers get paid, however that happens, so they MAY be of help to patients like me, but I am wary. Anyway, we'll see.
- ToscasKiss replies to BigAI didn't even find a a geographical address there, but I get the impression they may have people working in multiple locations. Anyway, I'm proceeding with caution as far as they're concerned, and will continue working on getting my ER bills reduced.
- BigA replies to ToscasKissA quick read through of other sites seem to make them sound more like a debt collector than anything else. They bill themselves as revenue cycle management and take care of accounts receivable. If you need assistance with that bill, I would first call the hospital, almost all have a financial aid department. Then also contact the State agency that handles Medicaid.
- COLWILreceived a call from this number. obvioulsly a scammer. why isnt there ways to go after these people, or block them from harrassing people?
