Call from this number, said it Julia Morrison trying to get me to pay back my federal student loan. Scam.

Got a call from this number. I have no student loans.  Called the number back and talked to TJ from Amerihelp. He told me he got my information from public records. That is obviously not true because he never even got my name. I will report to state attorney general and federal FCC.

Got a call about student loans. I have none. Called number back. Made up a name and reference number. They found my file! This is a complete scam. I reported to do not call.

I received the exact same message today even down to the reference number. I won’t fall for the trap it’s definitely a scam.

Received same recorded message - same call back# and same reference # - as others have reported. I have never had student loans to repay, and the number they called is unlisted and on the do not call list.

I too received this call.  Same name, number and reference number.

I received a call from this number saying they had to discuss my student loan options are they had just changed. The only phone number I have listed for my student loans is no the number they called. They did not indicate who the message was for, but the reference number was the same as listed by everyone else. The number that came up on the caller ID was from a 301 area code.

Exact same message as everyone posted, came here first to check out the number. Glad I did, I almost fell for this. This "sarah" sounded legit!! Beware and thanks ya'll

Had the exact same voicemail as everyone else. Says it's Sarah Thomas calling to discuss repayment options for your federal student loan. It sounded like a real person leaving a message and at first I thought about calling back to let her know she has the wrong number because I never had a loan of any kind yet.

But I thought it was weird she never says who's she's looking for or states what company she's from. So I did a quick Google search of "Sarah Thomas federal student loan" and this forum pops up with everyone having the same message with the exact same reference #022661. The callback number left in the voicemail (866) 412-6633 also didn't match the number "Sarah" was calling from Missouri (660) 563-7374. For sure a SCAM!!

Same message, same call back number and same reference number!  Calls comes in from 573-312-6294!
Why would anyone take out another loan at a higher interest rate to payoff a low interest rate school loan!

Got called about federal student loan which I have never had. Big scam! Be careful wonderful people and thanks for posting! Makes it easy to identify scams right away!
