Left voicemail with no one speaking

Just got a call from that number. Did not answer, and they left a message that they were calling on behalf of Bank of America special stockholders meeting and to vote your shares by proxy.  I don't have stock in Bank of America, but My sister does, and there is only one digit difference in our numbers.  I called them back and talked to a very pleasant gentleman who apologized and changed the number and said I shouldn't get any more calls..

no caller id, claims to be from B of A, I asked why aren't they mailing the info and/or have a not blocked/unavailable number.... no answer to that, Suggested best way for contact was thru US mail

Calls everyday about voting your shares of BOA by proxy.  I don't have any shares of Bank of America and normally that info is always mailed to you and no one calls.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Same as all the other complaints.  BAC doesn't have my Tel #... only my email.  In the past, they have repeatedly advised that they do not call for anything other than suspected credit card fraud!  This is most likely some sort of scam.

Just got the call from a lady claiming to be from Bank Of America regarding proxy vote for upcoming meeting. She left a voicemail stating that the message was for Jane, to call her back at this 866 number today! No Jane in my home, clue#1 and caller ID showed +053070, clue#2.  I guess that makes it pretty certain that this is just another scam! Number blocked!

Not a scam, my husband is an indirect employee of BofA. Although they never left us a message, I saw all of your replies and had him call it from work since we are (unfortunately) stockholders. He also confirmed with corporate that it's legit...this info does also go thru the usps, however some ppl require multiple notification of their rights.

Called on a Sunday afternoon at 12:40 PM.  Hung up when answered.

Caller calls every day. I have never answered. They leave no message. I called them to tell them to stop phoning my private number. I was put on hold for a long time and no one responded. A complete waste of time!  Very disruptive and annoying!

My cell phone (VZN) showed "+053117" so I declined the call. Voicemail message asked me to call them at 866-413-5902 regarding voting my proxy for BAC annual meeting in two days.
