Tried to get me to pay a debt for my ex.  We divorced 10 years ago.  I made payments on the house till it was paid off 5 years ago.  My ex refinanced a year later.  Ex died 2 months ago and they think I owe them the money.  They also have another number 888-806-9073 ext. 3711 for Aron  He wants to discuss recovering some money he thinks I owe him.  Same company different number.  Banks are getting sneakier.

I posted.  Ascension Point Recovery Services, LLC.  Debt collecting scammers for the bank.  Try's to get loved ones to pay off debts of the deceased.

Called my landline number but the recording was nothing but 'Please Hold' repeated about 10 times before it cut out.    I see by previous posts it is the Ascension Point Recovery Services, LLC leeches.  Most likely claiming my deceased father has some outstanding debt.   Considering he passed away in 2005 the statute of limitations kicked in years back (and there was never any debt as all bills were paid).

Attempting to collect a debt from my deceased mother. I informed them her estate is in probate and to submit any claims to the executor. They refused. Too bad, so sad.

Have called twice trying to recover money from my deceased mother's estate. Also received a letter. I wrote to them to tell them the estate was settled three months ago and there is nothing left.

got phone call asking about estate of my ex, William Harney.  we have been divorced 12 years, he passed away June 1, I told him I was not related to William Harney.  He asked who to contact and I said I don't know and I really don't care. This is scammer, if Bill owes money, its not my problem

Called again.  This time I answered and told them I had no one had the authority to pay some deceased guys death debts.   We'll see if that finally stops the calls.

Someone just called and left a  message that they wanted to reach the person authorized to discuss financial matters on my deceased husband.  Scam, scam, scam.   Be aware very aware of calls like these.

Ascension Point called asking I was authorized to discuss financial matters for my brother's estate. I told them no and was told they would remove my name from their records as a contact concerning my brother's estate.

Got a call from this sketchy number,..did not engage.

I received calls from this number on Aug. 1, 6, 8, 14, and 16 (that's today). I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. They've never left a message, but it comes up as suspected scam.

My husband recently passed and they are driving me crazy.  I let them leave a message, I do not answer and it is always a recording asking me to call a different 800 # than they called from.  I am ignoring them but going to report them in the meantime.

Caller left message asking for a return call. Looking for someone to discuss financial matters re. a deceased acquaintance. Traced number to “Ascension Point Recovery Services”. A group trying to guilt you into paying off their debt. Will block number.
