Received a mailing telling me my vehicle coverage is expiring. Said to call this number for extended warranty.  Doesn't mention the make, model or year of the car. Definitely a scam.

Said my warranty was about to expire.  Bought new 2022 RAM 1500 just 6-weeks ago.  Total 400 miles.  Darn those warranties expire fast!

Letter came in the mail stating my sister had not contacted these people to have the vehicle service contract (VSC) updated and that the warranty on my sister's new car had expired or was about to based on mileage/age of the car (how does a warranty expire so quickly?). The letter mentioned that if she neglected replacement of coverage, she would be at risk of having to pay for repairs herself after the warranty ran out, but it also said she still had time to activate coverage. It also mentioned that this was the first and final notice and that she has until June 3 to respond by calling the above number.

No year, make or model was mentioned, but it did list the dealership where she bought the car. The language of these letters is MVS's way of attempting to do business, but I do suspect that it is a scam.

Apparently it's a scare tactic to get people to do business with them. My mom got these notices when she got a new car a few years ago. From what I read up on, the DMV sells your vehicle info to these "warranty" companies (often for pennies on the dollar), who then in turn send out the notices.

I'm trying to reach out this 866-426-0075 to cancel my policy which i updated on 05/31/22 with james. I can't get hold of them at all . I have been trying 2 days now. I spoke to jay on 06/06/22 he states that no one is available and that someone will call me back. I haven't received any call yet. What companie doesn't pick up calls for like 1hrs or more waiting and how many employees they have !

That's how the scam works - a stranger on the phone tricks you into giving them your money, then they disappear and can no longer be contacted.
