Received letter in mail with a number to call. I noticed there is a note stating, in very small letters, "This is an advertisement to obtain coverage".

Yes, it is junk mail.  I know that you have never, ever heard of junk mail and most likely this is the first piece you have ever gotten so I'll tell you what you should have done.  You should have simply thrown it away and then moved on with your life.  There, now you have what you came for which is what you should have done with it.  Hope that helps!

So i got mail saying Motor Vehicle Services and i read all of y’all’s comments but i do see mine does state a coverage ID, the year, make and model of my car and it’s telling me suggested repairs to choose from “Houston Hyundai, and All Certified ASE Facilities”. Now my car isn’t brand new - i just got my car and it will be 2 years  of having my baby come February. Idk how long warranties last and what not but this mail doesn’t have a return address and when i first received it, i called the number and i was just on hold for ever! I ended up handing up since i was at work. Now when i called today, (since it says i have until the 29th of December to call and it’s the 28th) it doesn’t even ring! It just hangs up before i even get a dial tone.. which is why i was prompted to look the number up. Bc i figured i should be able to find their website but i haven’t had any luck. I officially feel like it’s a scam

Got a notice in the mail, Motor Vehicle Services, definitely a scam, and attempt to do a warranty we do not need.  I can see why people fall for this stuff, looks legit.  But do your homework people and Google the name and/or the number.

Just some info, most car warranties last for a certain number of years or mileage whatever comes first.  For example, ours is 10 years, 100K miles.
