Received a call from this no. on 4/24 asking me to call back about a check they needed to verify. Was asked to call back and ask for "Joseph". Did call back and left a message for them to return my call on 4/24 and got a answering machine. The message said they were FFG&Assoc.

how the hell are we the scumbags, payday loan companies dont hide the fact that they charge huge interest rates, you "scumbags chose to go there, you made an agreement that you should feel obligated to keep, the fact that collection agencies are forced to decive scum like you is based on your complete lack of moral fiber

Joseph from FFG and Associates has repeatedly called regarding a check.  There are no outstanding checks.

Got a call today just like others reported here, voice mail from "Joseph" about "a check you wrote."  I called the 800 number (same as everybody's here), finally after about 40 rings it was answered by a male who mumbled his name.  He asked for my name, I refused to give it, saying I was called without any identifying info.  He asked what number was called, I gave that.  He asked if I was <name like mine but wrong middle initial>.  I said no, cuz I'm not.  He then claimed it said that on my caller ID, but of course it doesn't, and just as soon as I said "no it doesn't" he literally hung up on me.

Got served papers for court today. These people are suing me for an old bill I have been ignoring. I've received several phone calls from them and a letter that said I had 7 days before i was sued. That was about two weeks ago and now today i was served these papers. I had come on this website when i first started to get the calls and the letter and after reading some of the posts about FFG being a scam company i decided to just ignore the calls and the letter. I was definetly wrong like alot of other people on here who have also been sued by FFG. I'm a little upset at the people on here who say not to call them back and not to pay them and who say FFG is a scam or just trying to scare you into paying the bill. I listened to these people and these posts and now i'm being sued!!!! Some people should know what the hell they are talking about before they give others advice!!! Listen people.. FFG will sue you. These court papers are real. Never listen to the people on here who are obviously next in line to be sued! My court date is next month and i'm not sure if i even have a chance of winning the case since i do owe the money!

Really Jo, what is the case #, what state what court?  I want to look it up and see if it's legit.  I can bet you it's not...cause you are from FFG.  Prove you aren't.

Just received a court summons. I'm at work and some officer came in and walked up to me with my boss and handed me these papers! I took the rest of the day off so I can investigate as I have no idea why I'm being sued. I found this site and looks like alot of other people have been sued by ffg also. I will contact ffg and see if it's not too late to work it out!

The address I got when I called FFG back gave me an address of 631 N. Stephaie St, #419, Henerson NV, 89014...after 5 attempts to get the address and being hung up on 4 other times.  I had fun with it...it is fun to get them back.  I blocked my number and they kept wanting my number.  I said I would put it in the coorespondence.

I may call them some more just to have some fun....several times....all hours of the day....

My HR dept at work called me today while i was home sick and told me a marshal came into work with court papers for me. I'm freaking out because i don't want to be sued. I guess I'll probably be served tomorrow when i go back. Wow i thought they were just trying to scare me into paying the bill but i guess they were serious when they said they would sue me!

I, too, get calls from a "Joseph" at FFG, they never ask for me by name, and a few months ago they were calling, asking for my son and saying that a court action had been filed against him, which was totally bogus.  I think these people are nothing but crooks. My advice: don't return the calls, just ignore them.

I Work at FFG. It's really is a LEGAL company. I swear. Here is a really good way to get them to stop calling. PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME! Then you don't have to here from them anymore. It's a really simple solution. And by the way. We have several recorded voicemails when the reps can't pick up the phone on the dialer. And if they do have the wrong number seriously call them and let them know. They will take it out of the system. Yes we do have some "Aggressive" Collecters. But we do have nice ones too. And they will help you. I promise. It's not a scam. We are just trying to do our job. and the 866 numbe is our TOLL FREE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER

I'm sure FFG is a REAL company....No doubt about that....a real Scamming company that doesn't follow the FAIR CREDIT ACT REPORT ACT.  There are steps that are taken when a debt is owed.  There are laws that need to be followed.  Documents that need to be provided.  There are no garnishments of wages without a court order...You can not threaten someone over the phone.  If someone claimed Bankruptcy you can not harass them.  Plain and simple.  A lot of people don't know their rights and you are feeding off of them.  You are scaring people that may have fallen on hard times at one time.  I suggest you go work for a real collection agency...one that hasn't been reported as fraud over and over again.

Just FYI, they are calling from local "spoofed" numbers when you receive a call in your area code. This is why when you try and call the number back it just rings. F##K FFG

Lets first start out with Federal Marshalls dont serve civil process papers. Next, Police Officers dont serve civil process papers. This can only be done by a Deputy Sheriff of a process server. I know this because I am one of the three. Next a company that excepts a post dated check cannot prosecute you for a bad check nor issue a warrant or throw you in jail.Judges issue warrants, not [***] sitting at the other end of the telephone claiming to be an attorney which is also illegal. If you read in the fair collections act it specifically points out that about the post dated checks and payday loans. By reading alot of the "people getting sued" posts, they are written by someone at the company that obviously has too much time on their hands.If you notice the grammer and punctuation. All with the same bs story. File the complaints with the state of Neveda as they are already pursuing this company for illegal acts.

I have found out some funny info on these clowns that call themselves attorneys. It seems that after getting a list of current and former employees we seem to have problem with felony convictions. Of the 24 employees, 13 of them had prior felony convictions or are currently on felony probation. Nice background checks ffg. The charges range from FRAUD- TO CHILD MOLESTING, THEFT, SEXUAL ASSAULT, ASSAULT, AND ALSO INCEST. Currently there are two that are on the Nevada sex offender web site. Obviously these turds are not in anyway attorneys nor are affiliated with any attorneys. Sounds to me these idiots are lucky to even be COLLECTING a pay check let alone dealing with other peoples money. Just a little taste of whats to come for ffg as they seem to like messing with people. ajaust so everyone knows, I am a relative of one of the people that have been victimized by the [***]. Iplan to pursue many different routes in making them pay for the bs they pull. I am well off and can afford a real attoney that is well known that has stated he would enjoy picking this place apart. And just fyi for everyone, all the names of people claiming to be sued on here was generated from the same domain server/ip address. A few key stokes can find out alot. So just fyi ffg, you might want to get a little bit smarter when you want to play with the big dogs. Although that might be alittle hard considering the people that you currently have working for you. I guess in prison college couses they dont teach you computer analysis 101. Also claiming to be attorneys might piss a few people off at the neveda state bar associaton. People that are real attorneys that can realy sue and can make life hell.

They are calling me evry day to leave a message about a question regarding a check I wrote. There is no check I wrote that requires a call back.  STOP them from making these daily calls to me.
