I got a call from a woman I dont know today.  She said my name and number popped up on her caller ID, the call was a recorded one from a correctional facility, how can this be?

Received call from # @ 12:41AM, couldn't understand who would be calling at that time from a 866 number, so I googled and still not sure.  Hey Whatever.

if it is so good why did telelink block me from getting calls for an inmate? and why do i have to set up an account with them if I pay all collect calls through att?

people are getting calls showing my caller id name and number and the calls are originating from correctional facilities.  One lady last week got 60 calls up to 12:15 at night, then when someone she knew got out of maplewood jail and was sent to another for another warrant the calls stopped. Now a new lady called me, the calls are originating from richmond heights jail this time, she got a call on her cell phone and home phone, cell is supposed to be private.  I dont the global tel network is hackerproof, somehow my number is showing in caller id, and my name. At@t is supposed to be investigating.

The last 25 was yesterday and never did talk to my daughter who is in cape may county correctional center, she tried several times but it never went through. Today she finally got in touch with me there was only $7 left. I want to have my number blocked or something. This is a hugh rip off. Is there a number to get a phone call to the inmate if you want to talk. I would like for telelink to correct what ever happened to my money.

Finally got in touch with a live person.Who explaned to me that they charge 4.75 of every 25.00 for service charge. Then she could not tell me how much a minute they charge. Different prices for different times. Even though you get a warning you are out of time and then disconnected, You can sometimes go in the hole, so when you put more money on the account they take the amount you are in the hole, then 4.25 for service charge and that doesn't leave very much time to talk. I'm getting my number blocked or at least trying the number 877-650-4249 to see about getting it blocked.

Blocks do not cost money...they do this for FREE.

got a recording from global teleinc for that number but then the second message told me to call 866-230-7761. I don't know anyone in jail and am very confused by the calls but the is no one answering the phone just putting you on a never ending hold.

AT&T is not investigating anything. They don't give a care.

I got a call from an inmate and claimed that one of my family member was injured and he claimed his name was anthony,

Global Tele Link has been calling 3 times a day asking permission to allow an inmate to call us. Why am I harassed like this. Can you make a stop to it?

My bill last time was $1067.00 for collect calls from a prison in Macon Ga. I asked the inmate where he got the #? He told me they sell them it every jail. The problem was I never got a msg stating "collect Call". Bell South didn't work with me. I went to see Chief Newman @ GBI. Freud report made. Try calling me now? Phone tapped. Jail my a@@.

Dispute the bill in writing. Send it certified or return receipt mail.. Never dispute anything via phone call, always do it in writing. And make sure you tell them your filing a complaint with the FTC , FCC and CFB..

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
