Received a call. I talked to him. It's a scam. Threatening legal ramifications. Sorry don't owe you any money. Told them I am reporting them and filing a police report.

Received call from "CAM Processing" offering mitigation of debt from 2012. I had no such obligation.

Keep getting calls from this number. Have not talked to anyone yet. They always leave a message telling me to call 866-487-8320. The person calling never says what it is reference to. How do I get the calls to stop.

They call looking for some guy that is not me. They call my wife and mother also looking for the same guy.  If you ask to have your number removed, they keep on calling.  I encourage you to report them if they call you to the ftc or your local police.

They keep calling me and family. It does appear to be a scam from CAM.

• If you ask for their address they will refuse to provide it.
• If you ask for a debt validation letter some of them will say WE CANNOT SEND IT. Some will say YES WE CAN ONLY E-MAIL it.
• DO NOT GIVE YOUR SOCIAL. But you can have them verify the last 4. Keep in mind in the digital age it's not weird for strangers to have this. According to the internet the they cannot legally provide that info over the phone. But they will.

What John said is true. Someone/a bad company has sold this scam place your information. It is prob very old information. Most likely will have an Email, Address, Phone number, bank account number and your full social security number. The info they had for me was about 10 years ago yet they state the "loan" was in 2014 with that information. I have had a call like this before and delt with most liking the same people before. They threaten to take you to court. Laugh at them and hang up. File a complaint with the FTC. Sadly they will move to a different phone number and start over again in a few months. Sadly this is the world we live in where they get away with it and can simply get a new phone number and keep on harassing people until they get a person that will bite and give them money.

Cam processing for a debt that I had in 2012 no debt and guys name was George Lopez... ya right. And he said it wouldn't show on my credit report which is a lie. Anything with your social will show up

Called four times today regarding a non-existent payday loan.  I loudly told caller I did not have any payday loans and to stop calling my number.  He hung up on me.  SCAM!

HAHA I spoke with George Lopez 1 of the times too, I told him I think you could have made up a better fake name...LOL

I received a call like this today at this number, and talked to the rep. Same thing, I have a claim, but decided to hang up anyway. There is an actual company called CAM (Collection Agency Merchants), but there is no 866 number listed. It's just an 800 number. So this is really a scam. I received a couple of similar calls, but from a different number. These people are scum anyway. SCREW THEM!!!!!!

Caller said he was from GMC Financial. Looking for someone by name. I i knew the name. But even she does not have this number. Told them no lives here by that name, same number as before many times.

Had wrong info, asked me if I know that person they thought they were calling? I said no. They said they have the wrong number. Would not give address. Claim to be in Miami Florida, speaks fluent spanish and english, accent is consistent with people living in Miami.

Me too from 2011 have blocked 4 different numbers from these people.

I received a call from this company stating that I had a payday loan (which I do not) and the money went into a Columbus bank account (which I do not have) when I confronted the caller she put me on hold then hung up.

They've been calling me constantly for my mother. They leave messages and are harassing me while I'm at work.

Multiple people in my family keep getting calls from this number, but they won't tell who they are working for or what debt they are collecting. Won't stop calling.

Got same calls. I looked them up for a business license in Florida on sunbiz.org no company exist. Also check the BBB. Same deadend.
