It seems I won a Cadillac...but I have strong doubts!!!

Karin Connors says I have been pulled as a finalist for a brand new SUV. It would be in my best interest to return her call. I don't recall entering any sweepstakes.

I don't remember entering contest for a new Ford Explorer or Cadillac Escalade, and my phone is on the DO NOT CALL LIST!  When I call Jason Lee at 1-866-450-3335 ext. 5702 I cannot reach him and I keep getting transferred to someone elses voice mail!

This guy called me too, Ford Explorer or a Caddie. Jason Lee at ex 5072 said it was in my best interest. Must be some sort of scam, as I didn't enter a contest.

We are on the do not call registry and we did not enter any contest.  I have reported them as not abiding by that list.  I never returned their call.

Guess we are all winners with this scam!  

Caller ID - 1-404-460-5170

Message:
"Hey.  We're calling in response to the entry you submitted to win a brand new Ford Explorer or Cadillac Escalade.  Your name was one of the finalist.  Congratulations.  It will be in best interest to return my call as soon as possible, toll-free at 866-450-3335 extension 5702.  My name again is Chris (Kubak?).  It's imperative I speak  with you 866-450-3335 extension 5702."

I received the same message from Chris Kuba.  He asked me to return his call--866-450-3335 extention 5702. This must be a scam.

I received a call saying I won an Escalade - something about a scratch off ticket.  I returned the call haven't heard back - I haven't entered any contests - something fishy here - no doubt.

Same thing, call from 404-460-5013 stating that his name was Jason Lee and that it was imperative I call him back at 866-450-3335 x5702. WHAT A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MINE!!!

Said I won an SUV same info call Chris Kuba ext.5702.  The number on my caller ID was 404-460-5013.

Same for me. I have entered no contests. Got a message from Fred Kuba at 866-450-3335 that I was a finalist and could win a Ford Escalade or a Cadillac. "In my best interest.""Imperative that I call him back."

got the call from chris this morning from 404-460-5488 which says 'unavailable' on the call id.  he left a message to call 866-450-3335 x5702.  so for kicks i called to see what this is about and chris had just stepped out but jason lee was able to handle my info.  all excited he's telling me about a contest i must've entered last year for chance to win an escalade or an explorer.  he proceeds to tell me that i must show up by monday at a welcome center in daytona beach(i'm a 45 minutes drive from DB)and that i need to bring my sig other with me and we'll sit thru a 90 minute presentation and then i'll get a scratch off ticket and will win either the escalade/the explorer (or $25,000 cash), 7 night cruise or...wait for it...a brand new 27 inch color TV!  i let him tell me all the details and such, got a claim number and told him what time i'd be there and all but i'm thinking i might find something better to do...

Yeah, I just got a cole from Angel Cole @ Prize Claim Center. 866-450-3335, x5157. I won a brand new SUV from a contest I must have entered last year. She SWEARS there will be NO financial or time obligation on my part. I will not need to subscribe to anything, and she is not soliciting anything. I told her I was really busy and right in the middle of something and that I'd give her a call sometime tomorrow.

OK - I didn't want to wait till tomorrow - so here's the deal. I called, and Angel wasn't available. First I spoke with a Chris, who then transferred me to Jason. He asked me a few questions, like marital status, still residing in Florida, income over at least 40K, etc. He asked me if I had my original prize claim stub, which of course I didn't. He gave me the number ITC9500. He told me that I was selected as an alternate from one of the original persons selected who could not make it. 5 possible prizes. (1) 2008 Cad Escalade, (2) 10 night Hawain trip, (3) 2500 cash, (4) 5 day/3 night Florida/Bahama trip & (5) 32" Panasonic TV with a REMOTE CONTROL. I would need to show up with my wife, since if I won the Escalade, it is classified as a marital asset, and both parties must be present. Must sit through a 90 minutes presentation - probably from the sponser - Travel Partners. Not a timeshare - he says. The only catch, since I was selected as an alternate, is that it is being held tomorrow in Fort Lauderdale - not far from me - but you can't bring any children, and both married people must attend. The only catch, if you win the SUV, is that you must be able to cover the taxes - which you have a year to pay - and he says is $1900. If you choose not to take the SUV, you would get a cashiers check for $45000. So that is, as they say, it.

just got the call tonight.. my gf was called and che fell for it hook line and sinker.. she tried as all hell to get me to go with her for the seminar.. hehe. I kept teller her it was garbage.

she told them she wasnt married, but he convincer her to change her mind.. nice honest people we are dealing with, eh?

Got the same message from caller id 404-460-5488 on Feb 08 2008 at 3:20 PM. Obvious sales scam telling me about how I am a finalist in a drawing I never entered. Chris Kuba (a man) left the message in his girlish voice. Message told me to call toll-free at 866-450-3335 extension 5702. Of course I wont be calling him.  I live in Miami Shores so they may be focusing on the South Florida area.  If they are this deceptive in their telemarketing calls, I can only imagine the degree of the scam when you go to their meeting.

I just received the same phone message as everyone else, from Chris Kuba, telling me about how I am a finalist in some drawing for an Explorer or Escalade, blah blah blah.  Did a google search & found this page.  Now I know (even better than my gut instinct) not to bother calling back.

OK -- got this call from the same Kuba guy, but I'm in California!  Seems to be moving westward, and the sponsoring company is Hallmark, and I'm guaranteed a Lincoln Navigator, vacation, $2500 cash or a TV.  

I'm curious to find out if anyone has even gone?

I received a voice mail from Chris Kuba at 866-450-3335 x5702 yesterday at 5:01pm leaving me the same message as everyone else seems to have received. However, I did notice that they didn't use my name in the message.  They probably document your name/number when you call back.

Anyway, as I'm in Colorado they probably have some property in the mountains for me to look at.  Not going to waste my time.
