Did you order an Obama coin? I recall seeing a service offered after paying for the coin and the monthly fee was 16.95, and the charge on my card I believe came from there too.

I have called this number 1 866 469 6924 and they answered the phone by saying this is "Customer Services" and I asked whats the name of this company and she says "its various companies". $1.95 appeared on my CC statement and then $16.95 per month will be charged because I clicked on a free Gift-card recently online when I ordered the Obama coins set. So please call that number and cancel anything to do with PRIMETIME. It is a free 7-day trial and then you will be charged after 2-3 days or so.
I do hope this help out !

This is what happened to me as well.  It is ridiculous that your card can be charged just by clicking a pop up that I don't remember clicking in the first place because I know that there is always a buy these three offers and do this and that and we will send you a $25 card.  I called and they are supposed to refund me too

I noticed a charge of $16.95 on my credit card bill today. I never heard of "primetime 8664696924" and certainly did not authrorize a charge. It seems they picked up my credit card number when I made an online purchase of "Acai Pure".  Scary.

Ordered a Snuggie and a Buxton bag.  I entered CC info for payment for these items only.  I get charged 16.95 x2 for PRIMETIME.  It should be a crime for them to automatically debit you for something like this.  I only authorized payment for 2 items not for a random pop-up.

I am totally disgusted with this and other companies or whatever this are. They are dishonest and they have to scam people in order to make business. I don't know how they do this. I had wondered as well, how in the world they get your credit card information... I mean, they get it from whatever transaction you DO want to do, but it's ridiculous how they feed of it.

I just called customer service after wondering long enough what the heck was this, and the person sounded as nasty as the rest of the company. Totally blew me off telling me first that "she had to check with her accounting company" to see if I could get the refund, and within a couple minutes later she guarantees I will receive the refund... That's what blowing crap smells like.

go here to complain it's the Better Business Bureau for the company's area:

    http://goldengate.app.bbb.org/complaint/new/

    Primetime Savings

    Oakley (PMB441) California 94561

    here is my complaint description:
I recieved a charge of $16.95 from 12/05/07 from "PRIMETIME8664696924" on my credit card that did not look familiar. After calling the 1 866 # that was on my visa bill i realized i had clicked on a link from a site for Acai Pure that I was ordering and that they had somehow used my credit card for their service as well. The claim to be a Gift certificate Company or something. Here is a link to a page of complaints from people who the same thing happened to when buying various products online: https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-866-469-6924#pU-jBWAvBAgDfgAjLPW1IKQ they tell me they cancelled my "Subscription" and i will not be charged again, but i am skeptical and they would not void the charge that is currently on my bill saying it was past the 30-day trial period. I called my visa customer service to alert them of the company as well.

I can't believe it, I swore I would NEVER give my cc# to buy anything online.   So I finally gave in because my mother has been using hers with no problem

Now, just like you and others, I see I have this charge from PRIMETIME on my credit card for 16.95.

I am glad I checked the phone number on line because now I see what it is from by reading your complaints.  I see I have been scammed like you.

I too ordered from Acaipure.   I know now to call them and let them know about this.  The order from Acaipure was for a trial only which is also billed on the same statement.

So I was right.   I will NEVER again use my cc# online.
