Definitely CreditOne. I'm late on a payment and they've literally called me 70 times in the last 8 days.

Repeated calls from 866-473-0948.  I pick up and there is no one on the other end please block this number. Repeated calls daily.

They called but it took them awhile to answer the phone it just sat there for a minute with no one on the other end

they call with no one on the line when answered. how do you stop the harrassment and time consuming calls?

Credit One is F ING out of their minds. I have a credit Balance on my card and they keep calling me saying they didn't call me. Well they sure did call me oh about 100 times a day, and I don't own them a dime they actullly owe me. Pissing me off about now!!!!

I got multiple calls from 866-473-0948, and it was always early in the morning when i was just getting to work. It seemed to me that they would hang up right when I would go to answer, so I looked the number up online. CREDIT ONE credit card, huh? That's really funny because I absolutely have no credit card with that company, or any business with them whatsoever. I called the number right back and surprisingly someone answered. Not surprisingly however, it was an Indian man who could barely speak English. I told him that they had no business calling my [***] number, and they had better stop before I call the police. It would be one thing if I even had the damn credit card, which I don't. He told me my number will be off the list, and apologized. We'll see if the calls stop. Sometimes you just have to get pissed.

I do not have a credit one account, I am tired of being harassed by these people. I get 15-20 calls a day even on SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...When I answer the call, they don't say anything all they do it wait a couple seconds then hang up!  I don't know how to get them to quit.

Contact Credit one directly and send them a certified cease and desist letter via the us mail. Make sure you give them x day's to acknowledge and return a paper saying they won't call you again. Then file reports on them. Keep a written record and any recorded messages. Record any you actually speak with some and according to your states recording laws (check them, some states require you tell them its being recorded).  You can find free legal cease and desist forms online btw..

So if they keep calling, then you can sue them for that..

You can also get a call blocking device or phone.. Amazon seems to have several models of these but I understand the T-lock Incoming PRO Call Blocker sells for under 60 bucks on Amazon and can block up to 1500 numbers.

Keeps calling home and cell do not know who they are. They never leave a message.

Get called everyday. I answer they hang up don't know the company because when I call back I stay on hold forever.

has been calling me for two days, almost ten times so far. I tried to answer couple of times, but there was nobody! I don't use any credit card, nor have any unpaid due! They should get arrested for harassing people!

I don't think its the credit company.Your all nurvous about weather you payed or not. Some people of differentcompanys are receiving these calls, they don't state their name or were they are from when they call. Just silence... how would anyone get a hold of our numbers? Maybe we gave it to the wrong friend...

They kept calling me the same as everyone else here. I called them back and was directly connected to a representative and I threatened to report them if they kept calling me. I canceled my card due to the fact they charged me a $75 fee to activated it and said I had delinquent charges and made my card decline cause I hadn't paid them yet even though I had credit available. I don't owe them and wont pay them for their stupid fees and anyone who would harass you after a canceled card that wasn't used isn't worth the time and I would cancel your cards too. I've had credit card companies who never as much made any peep and these people are just bullies with some half-assed company that seems to be a real rip off of Capital One. Anyways they said they removed me from the call list and if they didn't I will get them for this.

They keep calling and calling and calling and calling they won't stop. I wish I would have read this first before I signed up.

This is out of control. They call my cell, itleast 10-15 times daily!! They call me on Sunday, all day. It starts sometimes as early as 8am. When I do answer they don't speak. Then when my voicemail reminder goes off, when I check it, they just sit there and don't speak for like a min, and that's all they leave. I have called it back, and the samething, they actually hang up on me! I'm glad I don't owe them much. I have already cut the card up! Soon as it is paid off, will never deal with them again. I'm not even late on my payment!!!! Not due again, til end of this month..

Please cite your source explaining how phone calls in 2013 from a bank violate a "Fair Trade Act", which refers to various state laws which were made obsolete half a century ago and then abolished by Congress in 1975. Such laws once permitted "manufacturers of branded or trademarked goods ... to fix the actual or minimum resale prices of these goods by resellers". They obviously did not address consumer credit or the collection of consumer debt.

NOW .... An original creditor such as CreditOne collecting on its own accounts *cannot violate* the federal law you may be groping to recall, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, unless it's posing as some other company. If you don't like the phone call pattern from a lender, you can file complaints but you should not expect much relief beyond a "tut tut" letter from some agency. To do more damage you will have to live in one of the few states to apply FDCPA-like rules to original creditors, or find some state law which helps you classify the calls as harassment.
