Got a call at my work from a Trish Jacobs, said to call back 866-482-6513 ext 141 for info about a status change on my account. No other info and as soon as I search the name this came up.

Got a call thismorning from a Chris Thomas claims he's with McCallister and Krause. He says that I owe an old credit account. I had him to email me his info he even set up a payment plan that wasn't even the amount of my old debt. The info came back with the law firm heading and the address with a p.o. box in Seneca falls,  New York.  Here's the thing he originally called me from a Tampa Florida cell number 813-513-9250 googled the cell number then the 866 number. Now here I am writing comments with my issues. Everybody look out for these people they trying hard to con your hard earned money.

Just FYI, email is not a valid method of debt validation. Only US mail.

They called multiple times,  several days in a row claiming to be a law firm McCalister and Kraus. I googled the number and found it to be a scam. So I am just writing to report them.

A message was left on my phone stating I need to call back about a legal matter. He is from McCalister and Krause. I called the number no answer or messaging service to leave a message. This is a total scam, because I know I don't have any debt or outstanding balances with anyone. Be careful people!!!

Left message on my answering service INSINUATING a lawsuit has been filed. No lawsuits. SCAM. Don't respond or communicate with these people. SCAM.

I just received a call from a lady name Paige from firm McCalister and Kraus. SCAMMERS. I called back to the number and they asked me by my name and I told them I was Wendy Smith. They asked me for my phone number and I gave them a google number. Then they said oh Mrs.Smith you have school loans for the amount of 16K and I owe some loans that they are receiving a complaint.

I told are you sure? It's me? She said yes I have your phone number and information on our database. I told her that the number I gave her was an incorrect number because I took the first three numbers from my street address and used the last 4 numbers of the month of my kids were born. And my name is not Wendy Smith either.

I said to her your a fraud and your company and everyone else will be caught. They can spoof their number and call anyone, but they will be caught. Trust and believe

Called my husband. Paige left message stating s civil suit against him. Just landed on her desk. Please call me back with your intent. Blah blah blah. I knew right away it was a scam..checked online and sure enough.. blocked the number. Hopefully these losers get busted. I'm reporting them.

I get this same call everyday

The people from Mccallister & Krause sent me a letter offer to make three monthly payments of $180. 00.  I sent three separate money orders  to them in three monthly payments for $180.00 each one. When I asked if they received it she said they only received one and they never received the other two payments. I told her the address that she gave me to send it to and she said it was the wrong address.   She ended up giving me a different address.   Scam. Never again. If they call me back I’m gonna hang up the phone. These people are scammers and scammed me out of my $520.00.

Did you recognize the debt in the letter they sent you? What was the full business name and address on the letter? Did it match the address she gave you & if not, what was that address? What was the different address she gave you? Oh, and $180 x 3 is $540, not $520.
