I just got a call from them regarding an urgent matter from my college NCTC they left a voicemail to call back at 866-497-8723 but the caller ID was a 940- 202-5080 from Tioga. It has to be a scam so I’m not calling back.  Be careful!

I do not have any student loans. I am 62 years of age.  Neither does my son or husband. This is a total scam. Or someone is using my name, or they are trying to get info, Blocking the number once again.

They called and an automated message saying "All representatives are busy. Please stay on the line until someone can assist you." It looked like one of the numbers my school calls from but I never set up a phone appointment and they never identified who was calling.

They called me as well, seemed very professional and said it was on behalf of my school. They Confirmed my name, email address, and home address. They informed me that the us government had put student loan repayments on hold till September 2021, and that when that time comes I should contact my loan company ( which they knew the name), and let them know if i needed help when repayment begins again and that there are options to assist me with repayment depending on my status. The gentleman ended the call by wishing me luck on my upcoming semester.
