Idiots who refuse to stop calling even after a cease and desist letter was mailed certified mail with return receipt. No written communication/no message/no fax. Cowards to continue to call and "hide" behind their TOLL FREE CALL. A complaint has been filed with the FTC!

I just got another call with this caller ID but this time they left a message. A Mr Warden calling for Debbie Matrilis to discuss ref #17514658 and his phone # was 1-866-321-2195 ext 1151. This is the 2nd time he has done this. I do not answer 800 numbers.

Justt got another call from a Mr Warden looking for Debbie Matrillis, same reference number and this is the 3rd call. I don't want to pick up the phone and cuss this guy out but looks like I am going to have to.

They have called my neighbors, my ex wife and my relatives... I filed a police report on them and then reported them to the FBI for harassment.  No one deserves to go through this. REPORT THEM NOW!

It turns out they are a debt collector for Portfolio Asset Group. The collectors name is Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd. 1002 Justison St, Wilmington, DE 19801.

They just don't give up.  Called everyone in the family at work/home/cell about a person who isn't even in our family telling all of us this person owed money and how much, all the details, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. All of us have told them to stop calling but they refuse and call all 8 of us on three numbers, every single freaking day.

These people are vulchers. It's Portfolio Group, a company that buys debt accounts that are way past the statute of limitations, most likely for a nickel on the dollar. They called about some dumb account that is four years old and announced they were noting a 48 hour hold before "further action" is instituted. I told them to bring it on. I don't owe the bill, and even if I did, the statute of limitations has expired. Idiots.

I just received a another threatening message from these [***]. The account in question was settled months ago, but these a**holes are still making these damned harassing calls.

Who are the supposed to be collecting for?  Who is Portfolio Group?  The only company I've heard of with that name was a fraud.

These people starting calling me about 3 months ago about an account that has been over and done for 3 years or more. Today they starting calling my cell phone. I do not answer because I do not answer any call without a name. So today I received one call on my cell phone and 3 calls on my home number. it seems they have call my cell again while I was on the computor. They have mailed me 2 threating letters and I reply and explain my situation and they still call.

This company started calling me over in 2010 and still call, as of today 1/12/13 on a car loan 15 years ago. The car was turned back in to the lender, sold, and the balance discharged in bankruptcy.  It  hasn't been on my credit report for years.

hey send me letters with all sorts of variations of my address like adding an apartment number, but always using my maiden name. The letters come from all different states.

They call my cell phone which I block and block them on my house number also.  They WILL not quit calling. I have reported them.  I was told they have over 30 phone numbers that they use.

Send a reply back, CMRRR, tell them that the debt is past SOL and was discharged in bankruptcy and that you will sue under the FDCPA statues.
Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

I'm so glad I decided to look this number up and to read these posts. They wanted payment on an account that's been settled through a debt consolidation company years ago. She had specific information on the account, who I talked to, etc., so that started me worrying about it. They called at 8pm Delaware time. I won't lose any sleep over this!!

Hi you can't stop this, by law they are not suppose to be calling you and you can get money for this. Look up a Law that is called Consumer Law talks about this, and a lot of attorney are doing this now.

Phillips & Cohen calling yet again for the same old David K. the Deadbeat that I had never heard of until two years ago when David the Deadbeat's debt collectors started calling looking for him, for some debt that David K.  the Deadbeat owes that must be over a decade old, because this number has been our house number for almost a decade.  I have received 1,200 calls for David K. the Deadbeat in the past two years, some times six calls a day for him, and never answered one of them, but the debt collectors keep calling and calling for David K. the Deadbeat.  These debt collectors violate numerous rules, it's a waste of time to report them to the FTC (I've filed over MANY FTC complaints on this firm), and I just hope to ride it out until they stop calling some day for David K. the Deadbeat.  I wish David K. the Deadbeat and every person that works for Phillips & Cohen an eternity surrounded by ringing phones and voice mails full of messages for people they don't know, and missing important calls because their line is tied up with nonsense--the same thing they've done to me for the past two years.  I'm afraid to change the number and get another number that some other deadbeat has given out and start all over with this hassle.

actually the whole area code 866, 855, 888 .........and all other crap area codes have been blocked, the scumbag will not get in or leave crap msg in  my mail box .
