Just found a charge hooked into this number on my bank account for 10 dollars. I never called this company, they never called me. just this unautherized charge on my account. I am peeved.

Same thing happened to me, a charge of $9.95.  I called credit card company and had it removed and closed my account.  I had my phone number changed a few months ago when I was receiving phone calls from "Heather in Account Services".  The calls stopped, but they started again.  Think the charges and the calls are related?

I got the $9.25 charge on Sunday Jan 6th. Called Search Services out of Campbell. I notified my bank as well and filed fraud charges and closed my card.

They are most likely checking to see that such small amounts go through so that they know they are good card numbers and beware what may happen later, thus I closed my card.

I closed my card after I got in contact with my bank.

Ditto here.  Charged $9.35 on 23 Jan.  Calling credit card company.

This is awful. I have a charge of 9.25 on 1/18/08. I have called my bank and have cancelled my card. Do these [***] not have a conscience. How do they not know that I need this money to feed my 2 kids.

Got the same charge and amount on my chase card. Charge was made jan the 7th. Calling the credit card people today!

Same thing happend to me...Jan 24, 2008 Noticed a fraudulent $9.25 charge on my credit card from Search Services-1-866-509-1184 CA.  Had to call credit union to cancel card.

$9.25 charge for Search Services from CA.  Called B of A and they cancelled my debit card and that should take care of it.

I also discovered a charge of $9.25 from Search Services 1-866-509-1184 CA. Thank goodness my Credit Card company has the phone number listed. Then again is it the ignorance of the bad guy that listed the phone number. BUSTED.... I hope to "Not" have to close my account. Good Luck everyone....
