This company called my family asking for me  and then called me 4 times today and left me two messages. They said they were A and GS Associates and that a claim had be filed against me. They wouldn't tell me who the claim was originated by but they wanted my last four digits of my social security number. When I tried to tell they to stop harassing me and how they were going against the CFPB policies they just talked over me. Ultimately trying to scare me into giving them information and money.

This company has repeatedly called me and my family demanding I call them back about an important matter associated with them. When I tried calling them back, of course, no one answered the phone and I was told to leave a message. I told them to lose my number or I would call my attorney!!! These scam artists need to get a real job and stop harassing ppl!!!!

Same thing just happened to me! Really aggressive and rude! I don't care real or fake I tell them to mail me a letter with my account number and the company who I owe. Alot of times they hang up right after that.

Recording states it is an urgent matter that warrants immediate attention. Asked I press 1 to speak with a Representative. Sure it is a company that purchases old debt for profit. Message suggested a file number (not given) but the loud recording of man plays on......oh well.

Message not for any one at my phone number.  Have called them to report that fact yet they continue to call and leave messages.

same thing ....they are calling 8 times a day leaving the same message....when I call....there is no answer....please report this phone number......

Said he was in Mississippi. Said he had my number as a contact from someone in trouble with the law. I told him I don't know anyone from Mississipp. He said it was unusual that my number was given as a contact. I said that I don't give a **** what he thinks and now concider this call as harassment. He tried to reply and I hung up and blocked his number.

Same thing. Calling me saying that I defaulted on a loan and passed a bad check across state line.   Of course that isnt true.  But they have threatened to come to my employment.   I hate them. If something  needs to be done to shut down these home grown terrorists soon .

This company calls and leaves threatening messages, threatened to show up at my house.  I hope they do so I can call the cops.  They mentioned a county I lived in almost 10 years ago, I have no idea what they're calling about.  It's clearly a scam.

This number has called me several  times statting out  as a record message with very loud speaking caller then what sounded as a real person stating they have two cases with my name and social  attached  to it . I belive it's a scam since I've received  no official documents  or been served  so I will ignore it see what happens

Called my house looking for my daughter nad ask where was she.  Had 2 things against her and wanted to know her side of story.  I told him I dont know where she is he said I was a poor excuse for a mother and that he will find her.  His name is Mark Anthony.  Also gave a case number.  Never has called back yet.

Typical extortionist talk using a celebrity name.  This is a crook trying to scare your daughter into paying money for something they have made up.  Do not cooperate with them at all.

They called me  about a payday loan and said if I don't pay them I will go to jail... I ask them for some paper work or I can pick up . They put me on hold and never came back.....

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Just received 2 phone calls and 2 voicemails from these guys.  I called them back to see what this was regarding.  They proceeded to tell me that it's for unpaid debt.  I already know how all this works, I get these call quite often. I told them to please stop trying to scam me, they then said "We wouldn't be calling you if it was a scam.", yea ok tell that to someone else who will fall for it.  I then told them if they continue to call or harass me that they will be hearing from my attorney.  I warned my attorney of these phone calls.   HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP?!  I keep getting these calls every few months and it's quite annoying, I don't want them calling me at all.

These people called me 7 times in a row yesterday . When i answered they were calling again on the other line. Unbelievable. Anyway, they gave me an old address of mine and the last 4 of my social and stated that i took out 3 payday loans and never paid, and i passed bad checks? funny i just got my first set of checks a few weeks ago, so i deff didnt have any in 2012. I work for a lawyer and let him hear the whole convo and he told me not to worry, they would have sent me something. SO, TODAY, i get another call from a man saying he was at my (old) residence to deliver a paper to me. I told him i haven't lived there in years so he gave me a number to call to schedule my delivery. YEA, NICE TRY ON TRYING TO GET MY NEW ADDRESS. I really wish there was a way to track these people down and beat them. So annoyed.  Did not call the number, instead i googled it and it lead me here. SMH.

These [***] called from pay day lon aka arbitrary or something claiming I committed fraud across statEurope lines they knew my address Last 4 digits of my SS alleged Bank account from 2011 along with other stuff. Claiming I took a 400 pay day loan and owe 1000 and something.  They claim I used two people as a reference and I don't know who it is....will call all night until they block my number. Told them to take me to court and we can present what they claim I owe and they proceeded to claim admitting that I was a lazy person who pays no bills game on messed with the wrong person

Some joke shyster leaves me voice mail, screaming like he is my father stating "At this point it is imperative that we speak with you as soon as possible.  Contact our office at 1-866-509-4657!!!!"  Never said who he was, who company was, why he was calling.  Just literally yelling at me in his New Jersey/York Gangster accident like that will scare me.  Also - why is call back number different?  Because he called from 866-781-9957.  GTHO here with these BS calls!!
