got a call, no sound on other end, so i hung up

Received a call, some sound on the background but no one was talking

Stop calling for any sales call

Did not leave a message.

Idiot who called just stayed on the line after the beep-tone on my answering machine -- which clearly states that we screen ALL our calls.  So I could hear faint voices in the background, sounding as if they were solicitors' voices.  Then the caller hit the phone keypad, creating a beep, and finally hung up what turned out to be, I believe, an actual phone HANDSET, because I could hear it being moved down to the phone's cradle.

Have no idea what company this is, but this is the third time in as many days that I've received hang-up calls from this number.
