Recv'd a call, and family members as well, from a blocked call.  The timestamp was all the same time on all the phones.  We were very concerned.  The recording identified himself as Joseph Clark from PCS Courier Service through my County.  (Did not give County Name)  This 866 number was listed as the call back number.  Stated they have a summons to appear in court, and I had 30 minutes to call them back to stop the process.  Stated if I did not call back, Failre to Appear will be added to the charges.  Ended the call stating I was legally notified.  Nobody showed up at any of the addresses with papers throughout the day yesterday within the hour as stated on the call.  I find it difficuilt to believe the message when you can't find the reference phone number with a company name, and the fact that they must be using VOIP technology to scare people into calling.  I called our local county offices, and I had nothing on file from the court systems.  I was advised by county officials not to give out, or confirm anything from these people should you speak to them live.  Court officials do not call family members, and leave detailed messages trying to reach the right party.  If this is a debit collector, there is the Fair Debit Collections Act, which prohibits this type of messaging to anyone other than the concerned party, only after they identify and confirm you are the responsible party for the debit in question.  Threats of court action are not allowed in most states, and should not be made to scare you into responding.  Report these calls to your local and State officials.  These people will slip eventually, and there will be records on file for officials to reference and hopefully bring them to justice one day.

Thank you for the information. Now I can breathe---I got the same phone calls and the same messages from this phone number--866-509-8829. I will report this to the proper authorities. I am keeping my fingers crossed these evil people will go to jail soon.

I just took a huge sigh of relief my dad got a call on his answering maching from Joseph Clark as well from this same number saying the same thing, saying that me and him were both summoned but they got my name wrong.  Glad to hear it's just a scam

I received the same phone call. I didn't answer since it was a blocked number so they left me the same message as stated in the above post. I immediately became very nervous but did not call the number because I thought I would check the number out on the internet first. Said his name was dave tracey and something about pcs couriers and showing up in an hour and I would be in contempt of court and left the number to call 866 5098829 and a docket number.
