- UncleTimI am pretty sure this is the number for ITOK. They are a computer maintenance and assistance service headquartered near my small Utah city. I have been using them for several years and have had no serious complaints. I might be wrong but I don't believe they indulge in telemarketing. I have told them a few times that they should allow caller ID to identify them but nothing changed.

- DipsyDoodleThis is a company called ITOK aka DotComGuy 3400 North Ashton Boulevard. Suite 260. Lehi, UT 84043-5310.
They provide online computer support either one-time or on a member basis.
If one of the techs has a mistyped phone number they are required to call that number several times til they close the ticket. The smart thing to do is just to say they got your number wrong otherwise they will keep calling til you say everything is working fine and you are too busy to talk.- Caller: DotComGuy
- Sarah Frazee replies to Rolo SmithMy computer would not let me read my outlook e mails. I contacted this company and they remotely fixed my computer and all the junk I had on it. ( it did take them 24 hours to do it). They also scan the computer every so often to make sure I am virus free. I paid big bucks to get this done but it was worth it. I do not have a "new" computer and the software on it is probably out dated but they we able to save everything I wanted saved and "renewed" the works. I appreciate their dedication to fixing this problem because I would have lost a lot of files even though I had it on a memory stick, they wouldn't open.No they didn't call me, I called them.
- Renegade Jones| 1 replyWhile waiting for a Yahoo Service Tech, a flash up box appears and says "Tired of waiting for your service tech? Type in your number and we will call you back as soon as a tech is available" I typed in my number after being on hold for 20 minutes. I get a phone call within a couple minutes. He asked me my problem I told him my yahoo mail was locked down. He said he could repair it for $249.I said I can't afford that. He said how bout $189 and guaranteed my computer would run like new. He said I had 270 unwanted programs and if I went to Geek Squad it would cost $369. I agreed, now I find out this isn't yahoo but iTOK. He has a service tech call me, he says I have 55 unwanted programs. They performed a sca(M)n and my computer. My computer ran exactly the same and was still locked out of my Yahoo. I called Geek Squad and they said they would fix it for $69 in their store. I complained and iTOK who then refunded $90 so now the price for doing nothing but lie to me is $99. Beware of iTOK. I called Yahoo and waited for a service rep, he repaired my computer for free and said iTOK is not reputable and probably loccked down my computer to begin with and waited around to fix it for me. I emailed iTOK and asked for a full refund, a lady called me and was really nasty about everything. She said your paying the $99, I asked for what, there was no repair, she said too bad. I disputed the charge with my credit card who removed the fee.

- Dallas replies to Marinda| 6 repliesIt's not fake. It's called ITOK. It's a legitimate business that sells computer repair. Not every telemarketer is a scam. They're out of Lehi, UT.

- Roboboy24 replies to Rolo SmithIt's pathetic you're using this site for free advertising. Kudos.
Be that as it may, these irritating phone calls are NOT solicited. When someone calls me trying to sell me services and I did not request that call, they are invading my privacy, wasting my time and operating in a manner that is the equivalent of EMAIL SPAM.
Stop making excuses for YOUR company and stop doing business like it was 1995. - computer professional replies to Dallas| 1 replyThey tried to convince my 90-year-old mother-in-law that her computer was running "hot" and that her browser had been hijacked. They offered to fix the problems for $100. (It sounds like my mother-in-law clicked on a pop-up indicating that there were problems and offering assistance.) My mother-in-law contacted me before agreeing. I checked the computer and there were no issues with it.
While perhaps these guys may provide legitimate services some of the time, they're certainly crooks at least part of the time. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people who are susceptible to these kind of scams. - Tamianth replies to computer professionalDallas is a shill for the scam. And that is what this is, 100% scam operation!
- woodsprite replies to MarindaThe company is support for Herman Street. they are a support center for software such as Corel. It is legitimate.

- Robin| 2 repliesThis is a legit number from iTOK. I had just purchased a program from them and they called and offered me a tutorial on how to use it. I have to admit I was looking them up right after they called and then realized they left me a voice mail. It offered me a tutorial on my newly purchased program. I gave them a call back and the tutorial was a great help. When I was done, they did tell me they offer other programs for computer repair if I was interested. I said I wasn't now. I was also told I could call back anytime with questions.
I personally thought the help was great.- Caller: iTOK
