- AnnoyedKeep getting calls asking for a name I've never heard of before, block one number and another one comes up calling. I've been using this number for over 5 years, check credit reports and there shouldn't be an identity theft issue. Just exactly what the hell is this? Has someone been using my phone number to make loans?
- irateI received a call today. As prior folks have syayed, a recording states press 1 for such and such, press 2 for such in such. When the fella picked up the line he says that he is from Global Solutions Inc. -name travis. Hr goes on to say calling on behalf of his client in regsrds to a loan i received back in 2012. First of all i have not requested a loan and another travis, anyone can hack someones email address-travis said the request csme from such in such... wheb asked what was the account number of course he could not provide one. I was going off so much i really did not give him much room to speak. - UGH!I received a call from this number this morning. I let the call go to vm as I dont answer calls at work. After seeing the number listed, I immediately googled the number and all these complaints came up. I may have been born at night, but not last night. I know these people are scammers and I have now call blocked them. I know they will just try another number to try and scare me with their tactics, but I will again, google the number before calling back. These foreigners are hard up and think people will fall for their payback scams. Ha!

- Not Born YesterdayReceived a VM looking for a "defendant" named... if I have any information on this "defendant's" location, to call them at -1-866-1743, and then giving a "case number". Lol! Scammers... and highly illegal. (1) they don't identify themselves as debt collectors, and (2) they give out personal information about the person they're trying to reach implying that person is a "defendant". Oh goody, keep them coming. I'm saving the VMs for my FTC complaint and judgment. At $1500 a pop for each violation, they're going to owe me lots of money.

- Ted C.Call center operator told me the company name was GSG of Charlotte, NC. I asked to speak to supervisor who admitted they are a debt collection company. I told him I'm invoking my right to be contacted only by mail. (The most annoying thing about this company is that they keep switching toll-free number to evade call blocking. I block one number and then a week later they are call from a different number.)

- IrritatedThis company is apparently a collection agency that does not bother to verify or correct info they plug into their computers. Got my present home phone four years ago and their computer has been dialing my phone every few months asking for an Arlene Witherspoon who apparently owed medical bills. I suspect this woman may have had my telephone number years ago and is long departed this life, but this company is apparently not ethical, will not take the time to verify and correct the collection data turned over to them, and will continue trying to collect in any way and from anyone they can. They are also cunning enough that their name does not come up on a telephone ID; only the telephone number.
- AllanJust for once it would be an immense pleasure for me to have about 3 - 4 hours with one of the callers. I'll need a sound proof room w/tiled floor and drain (large) in the middle, a stainless steel table (bolted to the ground), restraints, lighting, 8 units of volume expander, 4 - 5 litres of LR and 2 16 ga (preferrably, though 18 ga will work well too) IV start/line kits, Haldol spray adequate for a nebulizer with O2, tubing and cannula. Oh, my hearts pounds for this . . . tee hee

- mbsiOver the past 6 months I have received many calls from this company, always asking for the same person, who has given my number as a home phone contact number. I have spoken to the company, explained that the number they have is incorrect and to please stop calling, then I have blocked the company's number. After three calls yesterday from them, this morning, I googled the phone number they keep calling and guess what my name came up under a few different categories. When they called again this morning I spoke to the called and suggest she google the phone number. The answer was they do not check numbers, but go with the number that was given to them. I have told them I will be reporting them as they cannot even take the time to check the information given to them, it is much easier to harass someone else. It is obvious that they do not get paid on results or this would not have gone on this long.

- aI received calls at my place of business. It was an automated voice message saying the defendant (my name) is wanted in pursuit of illegal activity and may result in arrest. The company message does not give its name just a case number. They also called my parents numbers consistently asking for me. My parents know I have been a victim of Identity Theft and that I have a Federal Court case. They are aware that this sounded like a scam but felt scared. They called both of them multiple times. When you call the number back they said this Global Solution. I spoke with Travis Pools. The number they listed is 866-516-1743. The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from this group from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Global Solution claims the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies; which they are NOT and they claim to be collecting debts for companies such as Cash Net USA.
This Global Solution, sometimes going by Global Mediation Group; has accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends.
How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started. I am not sure how they got my information except their is a new technique called skimming software device and they pull your credit report and find associated numbers and social security numbers etc. This company has an incorrect social for me and incorrect address.
I actually work in legal and told them to cease and desist all calling efforts and collections as this is part of studio legal. I asked if I need to send a fax to cease and desist and Travis Pools told me he would be happy to remove my number and a cease and desist would not be necessary. That remains to be seen.
According to reports, they refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. As for me, Their calls have threatened with legal actions, arrests, and the callers have called my relatives and employers.- Caller: Global Solution

- Sylvia| 1 replyGot the call and the vm was basically saying that if you knew the location of the person (my daughter) then you are urged to call back to this 866-516-1743 and they gave a case number. Interestingly enough it came within minutes after another call from someone saying they were Michael Rizzo and asked me to call 855-498-0069 so that I could be served with a certified letter and so that my daughter could be served with a certified letter.

- Mic replies to Jason Arrfirst of all they cannot sue you, send any sheriff or courier to your house or place of employment, without notifying you by mail or certified mail.if you paid a dime to these people you have been scammed! Collection agencies will send u a letter telling u what the amount of the debt is ,who it's from and when u took out the loan.
Don't be fooled by these scammers - CindyI received a call from this number seeking defendant...naming me. Last week I also received a call regarding the supposed same debt, but from a different number 855-478-4401. They also called my parents saying they were looking for me because I was being charged with Grand Larceny! I reported them to the Attorney General...which I plan to do with this number as well!
