This number has called 9 times this week.  Even on sunday when bill collectirs are not allowed too.  We do not have anything with CITI.  This is a SCAM call becauae a company wiuld not be allowed to call at 8am or at 10pm or weekends by law.  They do have a couple numbers but all have been blocked..Do not answer!  If in doubt call your citi bank n confirm if they have been trying to reach you but not from this scam number!

Where did you get the mistaken idea that bill collectors cannot call on a Sunday?  That restriction is not in any Federal Law so unless your state has a law the prohibits debt collection calls on a Sunday their call on Sunday was legal.  The Federal Law regulating debt collectors states calls are allowed 8am to 9pm at the location of the person receiving the call 7 days a week  unless you tell them they can only call at certain times.

Citibank is an original creditor and not a third party debt collector.  Unless you live in one of the five enlightened states, original creditors are not regulated by any collection laws.  Most only call from 8 am to 9 pm which are the hours allowed by federal and most state laws.  There has not been anything that I have found that says they cannot call on a weekend so I don't know where you got that huge piece of misinformation from.  Perhaps you would like to cite something? I certainly do not suspect that you will be back to provide that citation.

These people call me five and six times a day. They never leave a message. Sometimes I'm met with silence, sometimes they asked my name, sometimes it's a mispronunciation of my name. And they never leave a message.

Scam call. Women with strong accent said she was my personal credit account manager with the Experian credit company. She was going to greatly reduce my credit card interest rate. I told her that I suspected it was a scam. She disconnected the call.
