I received a call to my cell and home. They even now my wifes 1st name, asking me to call Mr. Miller immediately. 866-559-4301

I have had two calls gone to voice-mail on my cell phone, asking for an ex- I divorced and have not seen or heard from in over 22 years and to have her call them at 866-559-4301.  I have only had this phone # for 6 years and it's an unlisted cell phone.  The Caller ID of 419 shows on my phone but not at all on my carrier's records on-line or when I called them.  I have the carrier on notice I'd better find out why this number is not showing in their records. When I do call them or talk to them and tell them not to look for this person here, I need to be able to show a court should they call after I request they don't call my phone anymore.

I got the call today - It is regarding my Macy's charge I believe.  Have not called back yet ...........

The only open unpaid debt I have is with Macy's and this is the only number that calls for collections. So they must be calling for Macy's but IF they leave a message, all I get is "This is Ms. Jamison, you must call me back immediately, its very urgent, call 866-559-4301". Sorry, if you cant tell me where your calling from and why, I cant call you back.

I've been getting calls from these people for days now. Talk about unprofessional. I wonder if they have to attend a classes to learn to be that rude or if just comes naturally. They can go hang I'm meeting with a attorney next week.

I have received multiple calls from this agency for a person who doesn't live at this number.  Not only does no one with the name live in my household, neither of the people who lived here before me had this name, either -- so no one with the name they give has been at this number for at least seven years.  I've already called back twice -- "United Collection Bureau" when I call; no one leaves a company name in messages -- and told them this, and been told that my number would be taken off their list.  Hasn't worked yet.

Maybe someone can get some action to stop the phone calls to neighbors trying to reach a person they want to collect a debt from.  If that doesn't work, call the Ohio Attorney General's Office or contact them online.

called my cell this afternoon. Caller ID said 419. That's it, 419!! Left an intimidating message saying something about this being a call from the State of Ohio and made it sound like some sort of government office, urgent in nature, must call immediately, blah, blah, blah. They stated they would be there 'till 9 PM. Left call back number 866-559-4301  ext.48866 and an ID number. This has to be in violation of the FDCPA. I'm going to record this to micro cassette and start a file. We'll see where they care to take it from here! Now I'm going to look them up on Bud Hibbs.

I got the same call from Ms. Jamison. (And yes, only 419 showed up on my caller ID). She was asking for my uncle. Who I have not talked to for over 10 years. So, I am ignoring the call. If it's a debt collector, it is not my debt...I pay all my bills. I certainly don't want to get involved in some family member's debt, when I have no relationship with them. I wonder if they just call everyone who is next of kin?? Interesting.

Received a call from Leo regarding an ex-daughter in law with a reference number for her.

called my home number asking for a neighbor who lives across the street.  don't know what this is about, but just left a message that it was very important for this neighbor to call Mr. Harden back @ 866-559-4301

Just got a second for someone who does not live here and NEVER has.  Guess they are reaching.  I'm not calling the very rude woman back.  If they keep calling, what can I do to get them to stop it?  Again, the person they are looking for does not, never has, lived here.

UCB collecting for Macy's

I  just came to NY to visit my family and like about 7:14 i answered the phone and it was this guy called Tennell and told me that my mom should could him regarding some kind of account  and that she would receive a lots of money .. i don't believe that .. so i search the number and BINGO 866-559-4301 seems to be getting people a headache .. im sure now that i dont have to tell my mom to call him back ..

No dufus they didnt run your credit report. Why did you jump to that conclusion? Get a life they don't care about you to spend the money to grab your credit report.

I received a voice mail message on my work phone today from a "Mrs. Jackson of UCB needing to speak with Sharon (garbled last name) in regards to file #51480954" stating it was very important for her to call back & that "Mrs. Jackson" would be available to take her call until 9pm tonight.
I called the number & was answered by a "Brenda" & I told her I was returning the call to notify "Mrs. Jackson" that she had called my number in error as it was a business line & we have never had an  employee by the name of Sharon.  She said it was noted to remove my number from their listings, so we shall see.

It's apparently a Debt Collector for Macy's... just called for my mom (who does live here) and said her name was Becky. Becky gave me a file #, said she was there til 6, left a callback number, and her extension. I don't know what showed up on the caller ID. This seems like a very unprofessional way to get your money back, Macy's... on a side note, I heard a lot of childish screaming in the background when 'Becky' called. oh, a quote from their website:"At UCB, we have a tested and proven approach in locating customers; then influencing them to make repayment – all while maintaining strict adherence to the law." Suuuurrre....
