Health Plans partner with Human Arc to screen their members to determine if they may be eligible for additional benefits and, if so, to help those members through the application process. Human Arc is in Cleveland, OH and has been performing this type of work for 30 years.

- CindyCalled and said they have extra money for me
- Caller: Not sure
- Lisa| 1 replyThey didn't call me from this number. They called me from this number: 844-358-7971. Caller told me they are from Anthem Blue cross and they sent me some paperwork and needed to verify my son's birthday. I declined and said I never got any paperwork. Hung up and called that number back. It said Human Arc and googled it and here I am.
- Caller: Anthem BC/ Human Arc
- Michael PSome day a scam some say hired by Molina and other plans to screen for SSI and/or disability benefits. Either way. I don't need it and won't be calling back. Safest rout unless I hear directly from Molina on a confirmed legitimate line, then I may listen.

- DarSame thing, said this was a follow up call to the letter I should have received. Never received a letter, sounds hokey to me. I'll wait for the letter that I'm sure will never come.
- Caller: health options
- Best replies to Jake| 2 repliesThey take a 3rd of any disability if you apply, so basically the same as having your own lawyer but your never dealing with a real lawyer. So, don't bother. GET A LAWYER if you want benifits.
- Stephanie| 1 replyHuman Arc is a 3rd Party Consulting Firm contracted by Anthem Blue Cross. Anthem fraudulently shared my son's health info to allow Human Arc to contact us to offer "cash aid". People never call with free money, so I pressed the rep who said that at "no charge to us" they would apply for Ssdi on my son's behalf. I called their corporate office and that is not the whole truth. CONSUMER BEWARE. Human Arc will apply for Ssdi i benefits on your behalf, but the cost is that as terms of the agreement you half to stay with Anthem Blue Cross and cannot change health care providers - if you do, you will be charged, 25% or more of any awarded back pay amount you receive through Ssdi. The amount would vary state to state as to the fee legal representation can charge for Ssdi advocacy. But this is no less a way for Anthem to retain payers and to secure contracts...by disclosing your hippa protected info, and tricking people that do t know that there are advocates and attorneys that do the same thing without exploiting and locking consumers into a plan. If you get this call, report it to your state fraud reporting agency. Anthem and Human Arc need to be honest and transparent and need to ask to share your info to sell you services. Also, they will call and harass you even after you advise you are not interested and even after you file a complaint with Anthem..
- Caller: Anthem / Human Arc
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Stephanie replies to Best| 1 replyYou should report this to your state insurance fraud commission. They did not ask permission to exploit you based on disability.
- Tygerkat replies to StephanieNo one ever asks permission to exploit anyone, they just attempt to do so.
- B-Edwards replies to StephanieStart with your State Insurance Department - this sort of thing is highly illegal in some states, but sadly not in all. It is worth letters/e-mails to your Congressional and Senate reps at the fed and state level. I am not a fan of Fed regs in many industries, but when it comes to Insurance business, people deserve to be protected.
- Jamiethey asked if i got diability I told them no

- jeannie chandler replies to Paul| 1 replyare they a scam i keep getting calls and letters
- JustinCase replies to jeannie chandlerIf you look around at previous posts, I believe you'll find some valuable information that'll answer your question.
- MmJ replies to JakeWhen you have agents cold calling people, claiming they got their number from their insurance company (privacy rights, anyone?), asking for verification of name, birthdate, and address, before even explaining what you are doing, you are going to be seen as a scammer. This is a ridiculous thing, to demand WE verify who WE are, after YOU call US out of the blue, before giving us adequate info on who you are.
BAD way to do business. I'll be lodging a complaint with my insurance company. - Erin replies to MaryActually, Human Arc is an organization whose purpose is to assist qualifying patients with their disability application. Often, they connect with applicants via doctor recommendation/referral, and they're very helpful.
