- chris| 3 repliesReceived a voicemail from human arc representing upmc with a message that states I am eligible for additional income. They also stated that I should have received a letter, which I did not. My unemployment has just ended, so my finances are not great at this point. I do have medical issues that are preventing me from obtaining many jobs that Im interested in. I guess my point is, how these places are able to gather so much personal information without your consent. Since I did not initiate the call, I will not be calling them back. If they truly had your information, they wouldnt have to ask for any such as your social etc. After reading these posts from others, it should definitely be the deciding factor as to why you would not return the call.

- TimI have received 3 calls from a 401 Providence number, to call back about helping me get extra iincome benefits. I do have fallon and I did receive a letter. It just seems fishy to me that there are all these calls listed here and not one of them has anything positive to say.

- Annoyed replies to AliI received an unsolicited call stating the same as others for ssi benefits but not from molina, total healthcare has jumped into this fray. I’d finally answered said I wasn’t interested and I’m still receiving their calls from new numbers that I have not blocked. Annoyed!!
- NealCalled from a different number (local to me that was not an active phone number-unassigned) then they gave. Referenced a letter I never received and promised potential funds if eligible. Highly suspicious as it had to do with medical coverage under Human ARC. I deleted the message as it was a robo/computer call and blocked from going to my phone and sent directly to VM.

- SinOjos| 3 repliesHuman Arc or Human Heart left a message stating they work with the insurance provider I use. They offer cash benefits in the message. They state they sent a letter. I did not receive a letter. Searched the phone number, 866-569-5076, which brought me here.
They have enough personal information in the message, that it almost sounds legitimate, but the cash benefits, just did not jive. No one is giving out cash benefits. As a disabled veteran, who has been fighting the VA for over 30 years for fair and just compensation for disabilities. I know, that no-one is giving free money away.
I called the insurance company and filed a complaint with them.
I will also file a complaint with my states attorney general office of consumer protection. All states have such a department, everyone should file a complaint with their states attorney general, as it is they that enforce the laws.
It is clear that this is clearly a scam, what is most irritating, is that posts here go back to 2015. Yet the scam continues. It is obvious that people with disabilities are being targeted. There primary sales tactic might be taking advantage of people with mental disabilities, and the elderly who might not be able or know to do a google search for the phone number.
The US government needs to put a stop to disabled abuse.- Caller: Human Arc - or Human Heart

- Marena replies to chris| 2 repliesI work for Human Arc. We are a legitimate company who is contracted through several health plans, including UPMC for you. The health plans sends us referrals based on things they were billed for such as diagnosis codes, medications, therapies, etc. We assist through the application process for SSI benefits. We will ask for 2 identifying factors to ensure we are speaking with the correct person (HIPAA privacy laws and we are HiTrust certified), usually birthdate and address on file.
