So I started working for a company yesterday called digital applications, but we call saying we are from the publishers service office offering 300 in free gas and renewal of magazines for a crazy price. I know my bosses name is ed... just not sure if same company or not?

I got a junk fax from this number this morning. The usual crap with a phony header from "H.R. Dept" about cruises at a discount.

Got a call about a resort reservation promo. Call back was the message. I did and tried to tell someone to take my name off their list. They hung up. Called back about 10 times getting "reservations". I now keep the number next to my phone and call them frequently--just to swear at them.

Something needs to be done about these calls.

We received a fax from these people today with too good to be true vacation deals.  Please, please do not call these people back.  It's a scam, always has been!  Just delete the fax and move on with your day.  I wish there was a way to stop getting these.

I still have my fingers crossed and hoping the deal is valid.  They did say that airfare is not included

Yep, the scammers are counting on people like you to "keep their fingers crossed". LOL.

Maybe you should stay off the phone until you grow up and learn to recognize a scam.

DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR ADS. It's a scam. They will ask for your credit card information and just take the money without giving you a "vacation package".
Wish there was someway to report this to the police...

I constantly get faxes offering great trip deals on my office fax line. Today I received one offering 6 days-5 nights in your choice of Cabo, Dominican Republic, Mayan Riviera, Puerto Vallarta or Cancun PLUS 4 days 3 nights in Orlando with 2 Disney or Universal passes, all MEALS included including alcoholic drinks, PLUS 3 days 2 nights in Miami for the bargain price of $129 per person!! WAH -HOO!! Suchadeal! No company name on the fax, just the phone number to call to make your reservation...the number is 866-590-7027. I assume that once I call, first, they would put me on their SUCKER list and start telemarket calling me day and night, second, should I be dumb enough to give them a credit card number...who knows what havoc they would wreak with that? At the bottom of the fax, no company name, but it says to use the code SMALLWORLD646.  Small World is an actual Disney travel agency, but I am sure this is NOT them! If it looks too good to be true, TURN AND RUN!

This sleazy company ("First Travel" sends faxes to corporate fax machines.  They're in the form of "Memo" and say From H.R.Dept.  They're ads for travel that is no doubt as much of a scam as these irritating faxes.  Company name on the fax, I had to call and ask.  Take the time to send them an email to waste their time like they're wasting yours.  support@firsttravelsvc.com

If you have a smart phone, download the app "mr. Number" you can block whatever numbers you want from calling your phone or even sending you texts. It also has a very cool hangup feature so they are unable to leave you voice mails!

I'm having the same problems with them. I called my bank and filed a claim. When calling the company, all they did was hang up on me, at least 20 times!! Gail, the manager, is the worst!!

Repeated requests to have my number removed. They hang up when you say remove. I called the opt out number numerous times. When I called them they said "because I called them they WOULD NOT REMOVE MY PHONE NUMBER.

I cant find out who owns them but they are the most arrogant, unresponsive and full of themselves company I have ever known. They waste my ink on my fax machine and will NOT remove me.

I have notified the CA State Attorney General Kamala Harris three times (Referance PIU: 457345) since January 2012. She is as useless as her predecessor Jerry "moonbeam" Brown was in resolving this nightmare.

Now I call them many times during the day on their 866 number and say nothing until they hang up. I will not only continue to do this but have asked my friends, colleagues and employees to do the same. At least I waste their time and tie up one of their phone lines.

The national do not call list is a "make them feel like they are doing something joke" perpetrated by the useless bureaucracy to make them feel good .But it does nothing to make our lives less intrusive.

Time for the attorney general to either get off her butt and take care of the problem - or resign.
