I also received a call from this number this guy is not a real officer I filed a fraud report with the police depart against them

I just got a call from this number he left me a message saying his name is Mike Jones a process server. If I had any questions I could contact the reporting agency at 8666471620 and gave me a case number.

Caller identified himself as Michael Jones calling for a Maya or Maia Turner (pronounced turnuh).

He said the call was in regards to a complaint forwarded to his office #19930-09CA and said that if I wanted to avoid the action being taken on this complaint to call the issuing agency at 866-647-1620.

My name in not even close to that name.

I received a call from 866-647-1620 by a Michael stating he was in process of sending a sheriff to my house within one hour to serve me a summons. Can he really do this? He asked if someone over 18 will be home because he was sending over.

I have been harrassed at work and at home, they know ALL my personal info, they will not tell you who they work for or a company name, and they say they are Mr.Anderson, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Adams, and the case numbers have CA and the year! They are Fraud! Report them, beware, and give NO Information!!!!!!!!!!!!

This people called me too he said that he was an officer, they know all my personal info, they didnt wanted say what they were calling about they just wanted to confirm my address to send a sheriff with a summons to my address. When I asked him more info he only said that he cant tell me if I have more questions to call 1-866-647-1620 and a case number that included CA. What should I do? Should I make a police report? Should I call them?

Seems to be a collection agency,...i called the number and was given another # to call.  Apparently from a very old debt they want to take me to court on.  I told them to bring the papers, i will be there!! But then they started to get upset and not want to speak to me.  we will see if the papers ever come.

do not worry about this call, they say sherrif is going to serve a summons, sherrifs do not deal with collection even if atty on site. tell these morons that you are going to record the conversation and they will hang up on you or start yelling. they knwo they will get caught in fdcpa violation. they are rookies at this and use scare tatics. do not be intim. by these ignorant people. there is already a dallas based law firm working on them , i have caught them on a recording staing that a sherrif  was going to serve me at work , or excuse me they ahave dispatch the police, f&^$( idiots got caught..  told thenm i was in the indusrty that alone should have got them to think smarter. all i asked for was address for cnd and they wanted to play games

I've been getting calls almost daily from these people saying they need a statement from me on my voicemail. They even went as far as contacting my fathers cell phone......not sure how they even got the number??? Again today they called from a Private number and told me they were from the the Dallas Police Department and they needed to verify my address so they can give me a Police Summons to appear in court for a lawsuit that had been filed against me. They gave me this 800# and a case #. The guy tried to get me to pay over the phone to prevent it from going to court. I was almost tempted since I did owe a portion of the $ but wanted to do more research on the company. Glad I did....they wont be getting anything from me, their not a lawfirm, they just try to use scare tactics to get you to pay up on a collection item.

he call and said he was a server procceser and is sending a office to give me a subena doc#22391-AZ09 and give a number 951-493-3968 who said that i owe $2,000 on an 7 year old CA credit card and that i would have to pay $5,000 or they will press charges

I got a call from my old boss, I was laid off 3 years ago and still haven't found work. Anyways He calls to tell me someone was there to serve me with papers. I was given a phone number and case number. After talking to this man who put me in tears. He threaten to take My car and take all the money I earn fro the next ten years. So I called Consumer credit counseling, and was told he cant do any of this, its not even on my credit and if they want to waste their time and money to sue me, they will never get a thing out of it. These guys are [***] and this shouldn't be legal!

Yep, same thing happened to me too.  Funny thing was, i had just checked my and my spouses credit reports and the debt they were threatening to sue me over wasnt even on there.  They have also started calling our family members, lying to them saying that me and my spouse were trying to contact THEM but that we didn't leave our phone #'s so they couldnt reach us!  THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE!! i don't know who these people think they are but i too have contacted an attorney who has advised me what to do if further contact is made.  RECORD ALL CALLS!!! first and foremost.  i agree w/amie-these people are [***].
