- Another Victim? replies to Did we win?| 1 replyI just got the same call, something about winning a new SUV. Are you in VA too?
- az curious replies to Another Victim?I also recieved a call from 866-679-1137 ext # say we won something - Awards claim center.
- az curious 2| 1 replyreported that we won a big prize. That we should call 866-679-1137. Seemed very urgent and sincere.

- Force replies to az curious 2Yup, our neighbor, an elderly lady, got the same call and asked me to check it out. She was told she won an SUV. I think it's a scam.
- Pengrin| 1 replyI received a message today and gave the phone number and said I won an all expense paid trip for 2. Continued to say this was not a sales call, I did not need to listen to a sales pitch or purchase anything. Gave the phone number and said Congratulations on your prize. Just trying to find more about it- since I am always the skeptic.

- drdean38i called them back and they said i had been chosen to be the runner up for a 2007 SUV. I would have to go to there store front and pick up my prize, but the prize could be something other than the SUV. The more she talked the more fishy it sounded, so I just butted in and told the lady I did not like any of the prizes they were offering and hung up.
- LarryI get these calls every once in a while. They don't know who you are, they just have a number. The number of "winners" that have replied to this posting should warn you as the the scam.
Turn the tables on them. Get some information from them and file a report with the district attorney. Certainly DO NOT divulge ANY information!- Caller: Awards Claim Center
- Larry replies to PengrinIt's good to be a skeptic. After some research, this is apparently a hook for Star Resorts Timeshare Sales. I am not sure about that, but one thing is certain, if you have no clue as to entering a contest, then how would you have won?
- nedaYes, I rec'd a phone today to say I won either a Ford Explorer, 25,000, a trip to Vegas, or a TV. Does anyone know if this is a scam?
- spbMessage left at my work number to call 1-866-679-1137 about winning an SUV.
Was told that I purchased something at Walmart, Target, or another store and was entered into a contest. When I asked them to fax me the information they had----they refused. I asked to have my name and number removed from their records. Very annoying!- Caller: Award Claims Center
- JackThis is my second call from this number. Neither time were they able to tell me which state or store I entered in. When asked for a comapany name so that I could look into them to verufy that it was not a phone scam they refused to answer and insisted that it was not a scam and that all I had to do was re-enter my address to ensure that I still qualified. Pretty sure its a scam.

- AnonymI got the same message that I have won an SUV through a contest that I have apperantly entered without ever knowing about it. I am more that positive that these calls are scams and nothing else.
- Lily bethanyMessage said I won a 2008 SUV and my name had been drawn. He actually said my name, so it wasnt an automated message. Gave me call back # 866-679-1137 x232, Mark Wilson. Said it was important that I call him back. Lucky I googled the phone number and got this site. I'm actually gullible enough to have called back. Thanks to everyone for saving my butt!
You don't get something for nothing, I'm sure its a scam. - BazookaBob| 2 replies866-679-1137
Got a recorded call (I never answer my phone because of pieces of human excrement such as this) today at 3:15pm CST from the "Awards Claim Office"
and some beyatch named "Kim" acting all enthusiastically goofy about my
winning a prize" which is total bullship because I NEVER divulge personal information such as my home phone number to just anybody, especially to enter some stupid contests.
These folks at the Awards Claim Office are charlatans and liars! They are dogs! Pig excrement!
I filed a report with the National Do Not Call registry folks, not that they will probably do much if anything being part of our inept and corrupt asinine government (they don't do anything about illegal aliens that are invading our blessed land and turning it into a stinking third world country do they?).
Which idiot that wants to give driver's licenses and other benefits to [***] are YOU going to vote for? Barack Osama, Hill-Billy or "rats ate my brain when I was a P.O.W." McCain?

- d| 1 replyi got a call from this number also. he addressed me by name and no one would have this number unless i gave it to them. i don't enter these things often but sometimes i do just for the hell of it. same thing, i won a lincoln nav, flatscreen, vacation or cash. out of curiosity i called back. after a couple rounds of tag i spoke with the awards center guy and he told me all i had to do was go to a meeting tomorrow night and listen to some schpiel about Bechcombers vacations (the company sponsoring the contest) that would take about 90 minutes. Aftre that they are supposed to give you a scratch off ticket to see which prize you won. supposedly you win one of the four and no one leaves empty handed. i asked if there would be anything required of me other than listening to the presentation to claim my prize and was told NO. i didn't have to sign up for anything else, join any club or memebership, sign up for a vacation or be otherwise obligated. the only requirement was that i verify information i had already given and show 2 forms of ID... and sit through the show of course. i don't know if ill even be able to make it after work or if i really wanna sit through 90 minutes of babble, but if i do ill let ya know how it went. i don't think its a scam, its just a way for a company to promote itself to people who wouldn't take the tie to listen without the promotional incentive.

Anyway, I got the phone call today from 1-866-679-1137 ext 248 Barbara Fox. She left me a message, didn't say what the finally prize was, but indicated I entered last year. In addition she gave me the whole this is "not a sales call" speech! Call back to see if it was really real the operator would not give me any iformation on the company either. - noneofyour replies to dHey, thanks for that info. A co-worker told me about something like this. She call the free 411 line and they offer trips and things so you go down to the meeting and they talk and try and get you to sign up for other things, but she intructed me to keep saying no and eat their free breakfast. In the end she took her husband and kids and expense paid trip.
