An 866 number called me 3 times in a row. I didn't not answer any of the calls. By the fourth call, I was slightly worried, that it could be a friend of family member calling from a calling card. (all these calls were within a 6 minute time frame).
So, I answered the fourth call only to find out that I had been selected as one of the 4 finalists from a drawing I had entered to win a car. I skeptically asked questions, and I was told all I had to do was come to Vienna, VA to claim my prize. I would get a scratch off ticket and win one of 4 prizes. $25,000, a trip for 2, a 32' LCD TV, OR a Licoln Navigator.
YEAH RIGHT! It is nothing but a scam. Sorry, but when a place calls all these different people and says the same thing...it's a scam. I never even entered any contests, so I know it's a scam. My mother went through something like this and was scammed out of thousands of dollars. DON'T believe it!
