If you daughter has filed for a payday loan online it is most likely they already have her SSN and maybe even Drivers License number.
That is where these terrorists get peoples information and use it to claim to be process servers, debt collection agencies, legal agencies.
It is a pretty widespread epidemic and the problem with FBI, FTC and most other government agencies is that they have to follow laws.
One company that did this to me and was listed with the BBB and even scammed out the BBB by saying they would stop harassing me so the BBB listed the case as the company was working with me to solve the problem and it was left at that.
That didn't stop the calls from them. They just told the BBB what they wanted to hear.
Their hands are tied with the laws too.
Put someone who continuously gets these phone calls in charge of taking care of the problem and it would soon be solved.
But instead,  most of us victims of these scams are low life people who have taken out a payday loan.
