Just received a call from 866-733-9184 basically saying the same things I've been reading in past comments! Threats to garnish my pay checks...take money from my bank accounts...lien against property owned...etc. This MBF Leasing!!!!! I too have rented equipment from them in the past. They forged my name on the application and set me up with paymEnti that would have exceeded $8000 for a machine that I could have purchased from my bank or even SAMS CLUB for around $200. They have been scamming people for ages!!!!!!! I want to take legal action against them, but don't know where to start!!!! Shaking My Head!!!

Oh my hell that's exactly what happened to me!! Back in 2000 I got suckered into this same deal. I refused to pay as well. I did everything I could including getting a lawyer who tried to work it out with them. He was so sick of them he told me to ignore it and said there was nothing they could do and he threatened them, they suddenly stopped calling. Then 10 years later with no calls suddenly my bank calls and says that someone tried to take $3000 from my bank account, which I didn't have, so they blocked it. I blocked all transactions from anything to do with that. Now I just get mail every few months with my name spelled wrong. Pushpin Holdings... These losers are horrible!! My lawyer says they buy really old leases, that weren't paid, for next to nothing and try to bully the people into paying a smaller amount so they can collect on it. Businesses like this should not be allowed to exist.

i received the same robot n no real person for a debt collection to keep them from taking to court ?

I got a call from a different number but vm said to call 866-733-9184. I've never leased any equipment. Same story threats to freeze my accounts and garnish my wages. Ugh!

They dont identify the  company nor it  allows you to  get a person to talk  to.

Left a message about "giving me a chance" to take care of a delinquent bill before reporting me to credit bureau.  Really?? I have no clue who these people are,,,,they identify themselves as Lease Finance Group.  866-733-9184.  Not only have I not leased anything, I've never been delinquent on anything in my life.  I'd say they a scam group hoping to intimidate people who don't know any better into paying for something they don't owe.  They chose the wrong phone number!

Did this happen with Northern Leasing?  Their lawyer contacted me.  They are saying we are responsible for the lease, I told them it was up in 2015, but they called and had one of the girls in the office convinced they were signing for an updated cc charger.  Then when I stopped paying the monthly fee, they called every day.  It is crazy.  Do they have the legal rights to sue us?

Get a lawyer. Voice authorizations are a tricky thing to refute.
Did ever got any paperwork regarding what "one of the girls in the office" agreed to?
All contracts are negotiable, but only if the people involved are authorized to negotiate them.
Also consider recording all incoming telephone calls to your business in the future.
And all callers have to be told : for "quality control" purposes ...

This a scam.  Dreamed up by less than human creatures who apparently never had a mother or father.

call came from 800-683-5433 but leaves a call back number as 866-733-9184.  Says it is a collection company and I need to call back to resolve this matter - I never answer and never call back.   I have no outstanding debts of any kind.

Scam!!!! I don't understand how or why they have not been stopped.  I did business with them and they took money out of my checking account whenever they felt like it.  I had them blocked and now they are saying that I owe them.  They are thieves to say the least.  NEVER answer from this number again!

A good supply of the con artists are safe and cozy in India, Pakistan, and Nigeria, to name a few, without the threat of being caught. Being able to spoof numbers also comes in handy for crooks inside the US.

Incorrect. Its Americans AWNERSING the phones with this one. Wheather its a scam or not is another story.

Got a message from this number and said they were trying to keep me from going to court on a lease.  Have never leased anything.  Would not give me the name of the company.   Sent me to legal department and wanted me to leave a message.

Americans ARE frequent with the bogus debt collection calls, possibly more than the overseas callers. I'd estimate those on the other side of the world are more common with the phony IRS calls, tech support, and lower interest rate scams. But with many of these, a spoofed number allows the callers to make a clean getaway.

I got a message saying that there was a collections case against me. The return number was 866-733-9184. I called and pressed 1 for English, then I tried 2 for Spanish. Same voice mail. I think I'll call back and give my SS#, mother's maiden name, credit card numbers and bank account numbers...

Robot call fake fraud just wanting our private info no person just automated
