Get theses calls and no one says a word. They call all the time.

Received a call from payday loans.  I have not taken a loan out nor will I, so I want these fraudulant people to stop calling and if they choose not to I will report them to the Federal Trade Commission.   Push get pushed back

They have harrass me at work none stop giving information that is my business to my co-workers so embarrassing.

Receive many calls day and night from 866-758-1083 and other numbers.  Followed suggestion and redialed that number. Person was very rude, would not respond when I said:"Please remove my number from your call list."  I repeated request, no response (just could hear loud noise of calls being made in the background). Finally I said:"Did you hear my request?" Reply was a very sarcastic and bored sounding:"Yeah."  Then I said:"Will you please do what I ask and remove my number from your call list?"  LONG pause then response was a very irritated: "YEAH."   I am considering canceling my house phone because most calls that come into the number are calls like this. I don't need to pay money to be harassed.

The Best way to get these jerks is to download Skype. Make sure you disable the skype Logo in options!  It is 100% free to make a toll-free call to any  toll-free # in the world !  The only information these SOBs get is a bunch of numbers that make NO sense to them, why? because they are not that savvy!  The number that appears on their  systems looks  something like this  EXAMPLE ONLY :  67.23.45.125:2076
They have no idea what they are looking at, when in fact it is your IP number along with the port you called from. And if they try and research it, all they will get is the ISP Information and NOT your personal information!  They would need a federal warrant to get your personal Info from your IP # !!!!  Now GO Gettem folks !!!  They have called my house only 3 times in the past week, all three times they hang up!  I wait at least 2 hours before I start in.... I call them and sometimes say nothing, other times I call and play along with them, telling them a fake name and that I have pay day loans ( which I do NOT)  The point is, the more people that call them, the more it will cost the owner of these scams! They have to pay for every incoming call they get!!!  and if they get thousands... well do the math. they will be out of business within a week!

On January 11th, 2014 my mother received a call from this number representing "Discount Magazine" from a customer service rep by the name of "Jeff Clayton."  He harassed her about some payments she owed his company until I got on the phone and asked him who he was and his credentials.  

I suspect this is the same agency coming from this number reporting that I have a virus on my computer and request my log-in information.

So the next day I spoke with AT&T customer service rep reporting this call.  According to our notes:

Next time you get a harassing call from an "uknown number", immediately dial *57 and report them.

They are usually an international number if the caller ID shows "unknown".  Do not argue with them, do not threaten to report them, just hang up and dial *57.

If a number shows up, then it is a local call.  Dial *60 and report them.

Hope this information helps someone.  Not sure how to stop them.
