Rec'd a letter from "US Airlines" with this phone number to call to claim "an award of 2 roundtrip airline tickets".  Handwritten envelope postmarked from Phoeniz AZ.  No return address on the envelope or business address on the letter.  The phone number was in bold print on said letter.  SCAM!

I got the same letter today.  I actually called the number and wanted to know what they were up to.  They said they were contracted by a travel agency that is trying to get there name out there and they are asking people to attend an open house event by appointment, I asked her if it was a time share sales pitch, she promised me it wasn't, and that they were just a travel agency, but the name she gave me Universal or University Travel Perks .com is non-existent...big surprise.  My first suspicion on this letter was the letter head of US Airlines, when its actually US Airways based out of Pheonix.  SCAM!  but the woman on the phone was very nice and pilot!

I recieved a letter from US Airlines with a handwritten envelop to call this number, to recieve 2 roundtrip airline tickets.  Thinking it might be a scam- I still called the number.  It's a large call center.  It's a high pressure deal to visit a travel agency.   The travel company they are working with is over an hour from me.   To get the tickets you need to phycially visit, sit and listen to a 90 minute program and have them price out various travel scenarios for you.  No thanks-

Just got same letter dated June 30th mailed on July 2nd from Phoenix. Offer only good until June 11,2012. Figured it's a scam because the US Airlines doesn't exist. :O)
