Pretending to be AT&T

Left message with secretary--"important account info"!
Put on hold on 3 return calls, and said take the survey!!

Just got a call from this number and extension 3579, said they were from ATT and we are paying too much for phone bill and out of contract.  This is not true and not an ATT number!!

they called and said they were att and my account was out of terms and conditions and even gave me his emplpyee numbber as ap6441  scam

they called and ask who I am I told her that my name in the account and put me on hold to look up O said no need to do that because you are scam

They said they are from AT&T and eventually went to cell phone providers and on and on do not provide any information to them they are sniky people.

This person name Ron, calling from 866-759-7570. He claimed that he's from AT&T. I contacted ATT to report the scam. I was advice to alert you all that it's a scam.

Fraud, made up account info with ATT, and gave fake return number.

They said were looking for the person running the AT&T account.  I said "I'm not interested, thanks.." click. Before answering the caller ID on the phone showed something in another language, maybe Chinese.  I received calls before from people claiming to be AT&T but then they weren't and trying to get me to switch to a cheaper plan. I highly doubt it. As with other calls I'll report it to my AT&T Rep.

Received a call this am and the lady on the phone claimed to be with ATT and wanted to speak with with someone who can discuss our account! I usually hang up because we get calls all the time that are fraudulent!  She wanted to give me her ID# ..of course that makes me think maybe this is legit...knows we have a business account...and speaks good English! She read the blurb about me allowing them to discuss our account...I said thank you and I will call ATT when I get time. Still and always will think calling into ATT is best! Obviously the scammers are getting better knowledge how to fool us!

They just asked how our install went.   They didn't try to sell me anything or ask for any info.
