I forgot to mention that I called them back on a Saturday morning and they answered. I gave them the "What for's" if you know what I mean, and the guy...Wyatt Dent proceeded to tell me that I was the problem, and hung up on me. I was soooo furious and called back 5 minutes later, and received some "phoney" message that said the phone was out of service.

I will tell you exactly what this company is: A FRAUD. I have some insider information on this company. First and foremost, this place is located in a building in Dekalb County, GA where most of the other tenants have never heard of these people. The staff is very unprofessional and their behavior in person is just as tacky as their behavior over the phone as the other posters have described on this forum. This company needs to be investigated. They claim to collect on payday loans and get this: THEY don't even pay their "employees" a wage, it is commission only. Meaning, these losers go to "work" everyday without the promise of a paycheck. Loud rap music is played in the office and the people dress like they are in the streets. This is a fraudulent company and if they ever call you DO NOT give out your personal information. Also, try calling the 1-866-809-6996 number, the SAME person answers EVERYTIME. If this was a real company, they would have an ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) thus routing your calls to various agents everytime you call. The equipment that they use is old and the place is full of Black people.

I all of a sudden three days ago started to receive phone calls from a phony debt collection agency......when I have asked for their physical address they hang up on me.  Now they won't even answer.....they look at the caller ID and hang up.  I need the address so that I can mail a cease and desist letter, and also to report them to the Attorney Generals Office.

This is going on a second year of being harrassed by these people. I just got a call saying they needed to speak to my husband - on my cell phone no less. They said they could not speak to me about the reason for their call, but yet they said he left my phone number with them as a second reference. The phone number they gave me for him to call back is a new number not yet reported (but it will be!) (404) 963-9782  The caller id on my phone came up with the number assoicated with this string. I'm getting sick of people stressing me out and making me lose my cool with them and inadvertantly with my husband.

You are a very ignorant person who cares if the office is full of black people they are black people making a living for their families. Which you racist white people don't ever want any black person to do,  debt is debt and if you owe onw pay it, this has nothing to do with race stupid DETECTIVE.

For the life of me I don't understand people who get upset when someone calls them over a debt they owe. If you are a debtor and you borrow money from a company, pay it back. The company was there for you when you needed the money, so why not pay it back. If you can't pay the whole balance then set up an arrangement to make partial payments. Not one time have I seen where any debtor actually wanted to pay but wasn't allowed. Instead of trying to find ways to get out of paying your bills, which is just plain irresponsible, why not actually attempt to pay back a debt that you probably are legally and morally responsible for. So stop complaining and see if you can work out an acceptable repayment option.

It sounds to me that you have a deadbeat husband who dont pay his bills.  Is this the life you wanted? I am sure your parents are proud of you! It would be so cool if that collection agency was able to give out the names of the debtors who all are deadbeats like your husband.... Please inlightin us with his name... I am sure the good people here would love to know who your husband is.

That company bought the paper, they will not send you to court because they are not Attorneys! This is a debt that you or someone you know took out sometime ago and they provided a check info or something. If you are not working or feel that you no longer owe that debt DO NOT PAY IT! if you can't pay. DO NOT STRESS ABOUT IT! they can not take you to court. Simply ask for their address to send them a Cease and Desist letter so they can not call or write to you. If they don't provide an address they simply say stop calling, if they continue to call then report them to your attorney general office and to the Better business ... THEY BOUGHT THE PAPER YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY!

How could any law abiding citizen, in good conscience advise anyone not to pay a bill that is legally and morally owed? I just don't understand it. If a person borrowed money in good faith why won't yoy pay it back in good faith? Can someone, anyone please just answer that question for me. I don't care about the alleged tactics and all that other stuff. Just tell me why anyone SHOULDN'T pay a bill they owe?

I have recieved several calls the last week and have repeately asked for the name of the company I owe the money to..I keep ggetting told it is a company under a prosolutions and they arent sure exactly which one.but want me to pay them 600.00, told them if they can show me who I owe I will considering the only 600 dollar debt I had was paid off several years ago. phone number to call them back is 404-963-9712

I am not in collections and have not idea why there are constantly calling my home. I made contact to clear up the situation; I asked what the calls were in reference to. The woaman that I spoke to said she was going to put me on hold, but hung up on me. I called back and a man hung up on me.
I kept calling back, but they were only playing game with me.
Some names they identified themselves by were: William Chase, Manager Wilcock, Franco Ryan, Mr. Jones.
They called me a [***] and told me to put on my wonder woman suit and fly over to them to get them to stop calling.
They said they were a Law Firm Greenberg, Stein and Associates

I have been getting these same calls from Greenberg Stein and Associates, from this number 404-963-9718. The said that I owed for a NSF, to a company I have never heard of. They told me that unless I pay 3 payments of 165.00 I would be arrested. Well being someone that had my identity stolen. I was a little apprehensive to tell them anything. But they told me my old bank info and even my checking account number. Well that just so happens to be the account for which my information was stolen. Then I knew that something was up. I called around and found out that this company they say they are just opened in 10/2009, and was just an LLC. I don’t know who they are and I really don’t care anymore. I am just sick of the calls and they are still calling to this day. I just got a call from them again today.

The same thing just happened to my wife they called saying that if we did not set up to pay a debt of 800 something odd dollars they were going to have a sheriff sent out to the house. So my wife set up to pay and later on that day my neighbor brought a message over to my house from Greenberg Stein and associates and I am trying to figure out how they got a hold of my neighbor and why but I am very pissed about the situation.

this company is trying to scam me and my family. The debt they are trying to collect doesn't excist.

I am receiving the same phone calls from this company. However, no one is able to tell me exactly whey they are calling. All they want is for me to pay what it is that they say I owe. Ok, well what is it? I need to know what it is that I owe and who it is was to. Why is it that I cannot get this information.

about 3 weeks ago an agent by the name of Drake called me at work. he did not state where he worked just simply that he was calling to collect a debt. he told me that i had written a check on a closed account on purpose and that they have had it sent through collections several times and that i refused to pay. i asked when this all had taken place and he said 2007. i asked y they had waited this long to contact me and y did i not receive anything in the mail, he had no answer. i told him i wasnt giving him n e info then that i would return his call later. he never answered again. and again today i got another call from "investigator william chase" stating the same crap. when i asked him who he represented he told me my bank. i informed him that i talked to my bank and they said they DO NOT have a third party go and try to collect a debt for them, he then told me he represented my check itself. what a crock. he gave me a run around on payments that i could do or settle with the bank. all of them outrages, i explained that i am the only one working right now in my household my husband is disabled and i have children to support. i told him i thought this was phony and that i was going to call around and get more info, and look what i found. this website. in both cases i was threatened with a very hefty fine to pay or jail. several time was told i was going to serve up to a yr in jail. i have been tempted to just clear this up, but my gut just wouldnt let it go. the number i got is1-404-963-9737 and the same 1800# that everyone is giving. someone needs to put a stop to this....he had reference names and ss #s and bank info.
