A man appearing to have an Indian accent called me...said he was from U.S. Cash Advance (a place I have not done business with) claiming I need to get a lawyer for money owed them.

I left a message, no return call and no information on their phone line as to what type of business they are, only that they are recording any messages.

This is fraud as I know I don't owe them. They need to be stopped and charged with harassment and attempted fraud.

same thing as everyone else, some dip-sh-t with an indian accent, said i would be arrested tonite, asked if they would hurry it up a little bit that i was tired and needed to get to bed, might of known, stayed up late and a no show, i am disappointed needed to get away from wife for few days

They are out of india, just a scam, complaint to FTC will go nowhere only if you are a millionare and the goverment will protect you

We should treat them just like Biben Laden, 2 shots and a splash of water. They cannot speak English so my guess India or Afghanistan. Just call your Phone Company, Call Local police to get a subpoena of your incoming calls so you can prosecute these sheep lovers.
Tim Williams is a fraud, no one was arrested. They want a debit card or checking account, gee that seems legit! NOT.

They are using a real companies name, they are located in INDIA, where the women are hairier than the spineless males. When they call just make fun of how incest is popular in India since they can't get real dates! Tie up their time with insults. Post the phone number everywhere and get people to call them to harass them for a change...it's toll free, make them pay...but do it from pay phones!

They Don't provide you with any proof. The live in a backward country and play with poor defenseless farm animals.  Just continue to insult them as maggots and how come his sister is his wife?  They will hang up. Post the phone number on-line for people to call them 24/7...it's their dime...call them toll free from a pay phone!

I recieved a call from this number 866-812-2623 and India guy by the name of Henry told me that I owed money and that I needed to contact an attorney.  I never could get them to tell me the name of the company to which I owed money.  then they wanted me to fax a letter saying I confirmed that I owed money and that they could debit my bank account.  SCARY---please let me know if there is something else I need to do to take care of this--they have my  SS# and address and banking info---

i just recieved my call and my question is on what grounds were you arrested and how did you get this settled

Call the police and report it, call the state Attorney Generals office and file a complaint, call the FTC and log a complaint. I am trying to get everybody to post the phone numbers they use for call back everywhere so people call them back and tie up their phone systems. I have a funny feeling that they were part of the [***] that hack a bank system and now have stolen information.
This is what happens when American company set up call centers in a backward country like India...nothing good comes out of it

I have been recieving these calls also and when i call back they say legal department.. I asked for the name of the company and they just said they were an unsecured loans legal department.. they have all my info also. I keep talking to a Raymond Scott

These are some more potential Information for the Scammer.Can some one please help to put them behind bars? I can see one of the replies is from Mike defending them selves.I traced their IP and its coming in from WEST India.!!!!   Believe it or not...!!
Try to get their fax number and email ids , this is the only key to trace them.They have Efax number which can be traced with potential Credit card through which it was bought and Email id can help us trace their IP.again which will be West India.
They ask for card details and this is what will show up on your account statement.again FRAUD.!!!

I got a call at my job yesterday I have receive many calls from these idiots from various  numbers, This time a Albert called me, but I also spoke with an ADam and  Joseph.   I called x 2,  the first I would verify my social Security number and they hung up, the 2nd time,  I told them they were a scam and they disconnected.    This has been going on Since November.

This foreign man, I cannot understand his name, is calling me every day sometimes 2 and 3 times.  I am going to be arrested at my work or my home.  He leaves messages on my home phone.  He is calling from 866-812-2623.  Sometimes he stops for a month and then starts right back.  I do not owe a payday loan and am getting really tired of the harassing phone calls.

I rec'd. a phone call (message left on my cell phone voicemail-which phone number I have only had about a year or less) asking me to have my daughter (left her name) call Officer Richards immediately regarding an investigation on her.  I returned the call and they said they couldn't give me any information but to have her call 866-812-2623.  She did call them and said something about an unpaid student loan.  She went on line and found it to be a scam as I just did!  Very foreign speech!

got a call from a 1-866-812-2623. he left a message that i could not understand, with a forgein thick voice and he talk so fast that the only thing i understood was i want your ssn # and threating me with case file. he talked so fast and he sounded so unprofessional, he sounded like he was reading from a scrpt,  he's a scammer and he is being reported to the police. next time he calls i will tell him to go stick it where the sun don't shine.  they are scammin [***], if fall for this [***] you did not do your homework.   you can not go to jail for loans, plus it's against the law for debt collectors to threaten people. look it up folks.

So does anyone know how to ger rid of this dirt bag? I have a man named Dennis Stein calling my cell phone and my work. He has made threats to put me in jail. I have not taken any loan out from these so called people.

How did they get ALL of my information and what can they do with it? I played with the guy for a bit and then hung up! This has happened before....
