There is also a way to "sue" - but that's just "professionals" helping us "non-professionals" to run'm down + addon a 15% tip + copurt costs + you'll never see any money anyway, but the "professionals " are goin to work for free .. so you pay..

CONSTANTLY RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS #. tHEY HANG UP AS SOON AS I ANSWER. I SOMEHOW GET THE FEELING THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A FEMALE TO ANSWER. WHEN I CALL BACK, I GET A FAX MACHINE. I AM NOW GETTING THE CALLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.

How do you find out who 1-866-823-6977 is? They entered me in a sweeptakes and giveaway... and then they said i have to pay 3.99/week for those stupid magazines... I didn't know it was 3.99/week for 60 months that will be hecka money to pay that off... n they know my name n debit card # what the heck? n den this dumb lady transfer me over to her managers and i told him i want to cancel the order for the stupid magazines, but he said i cant they already processed it? It was like freaking 2-3 minutes ago? why cant eh cancel it? n den he called me [***] and saying that asian people should get these thing.... He freaking called me [***] I want to sue him and file a complaint for what he said cuz i do have a learing disability? Why heck are you gonna say this to your customers? I never been called that in my life not from a company... can someone please tell me how i can sue that freaking guys butt off.... he hurt my feelings big time.... no one would want to be called [***]... jsut cuz i got a lil hearing problem theres no reason to call someone [***] i guess he the [***] one who don't know how to do business. if he got a problem with my retardation den he got some issues.... being hecka racist to metal diasble people and dispectful.... shoot... im pissed

Got two calls from this number, one at around 2 the other around five. Both missed calls 'cause I was at work. Called back several times and got a fax. Any idea who these people are?

i actually talked to 2 ladies from this number the first time they called.  they wanted to know which magazines i wanted. they had me address and what kind of card i had and all that.  she wanted me to give her my credit information and i told her i didn't give it over the phone and to mail me info.  she got even more pushy and rude.  i finally hung up.  she called right back and i've been getting called and hung up on every few days since.  can we sue these jerks?

So, these people called me,and I talked to them, I thought the deal wasn't bad until after I gave them my info :(  So it was upped to $39 a month for 26 months and there is no way I can afford that.  I tried calling back to cancel and all I get is a fax.  How do I get through to these people?

they called and siad i won some dreams come true sweepstekes....from mexico they kept calling me finally i told them that they had the wrong number....the thing is thwy new my name i never entered any sweepstakes and when i called the number it was a fax #

I was hooked by this company, and went through soo much to have them cancel my order that I stupidly put in..   Since this number doesnt work if you call them back, call this number if you have any problems 888-446-4405.  That is this company's customer service number, and beware, because they have no problem being rude.

Young woman called and asked for Jack Mehoff. I said you must have the wrong number, and she replied, this isn't Jack Mehoff and then hung up.

Guess I'm not the only one..  Geeese  I wondered what this number was and looked up on the computer and found this.

Calls on a regular basis.  Is a NUISANCE.  I have never picked up or called back, because I did not recognize the number.

They have called me atleast five times per day for the last four days. Getting real sick of it. I don't answer so then they call right back from a different number! last night they called me at 11:40 PM!! Who does that? Once I called it back and some girl said "hello." Nothing formal so I hung up on them. They also called on the 866-229-9778 number as well, so be aware!

I got a call from this number this morning, very annoying,how to stop it?

they called me and told me they were from the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. I have a brain tumor and i am getting ready to undergo surgery so i was pretty happy when i got the call. but when i tried to call back i just got a fax machine and the Make-A-Wish-Foundation says that number does not belong to them... and they have no "Ann"

I've been receiving these calls for the past four or five days now but I always miss the call. So they call me last night, I think her name was Maria (sounded hispanic) and she said I was just entered in a sweepstakes where I could win   BMW, money and many other prizes because I have a visa, mastercard or Discover. She asked to verify my age and I said 18-30 She said I could get allure, glamour and some other magazines for free but since national Gepgrapher is the sponsor, then you would have to pay $3.99 a week for 60 months and I said "HELL NO, thank I don't want it." So says alright have a good day, bye.   But before Ianswered she asked if my address was correct and read it off all correctly to me. I was like whoa....

So then I get another call at 10am this morning and this now made me worried because once you say no, they shouldn't call back.

So I called Mastercard and they transferred meto the suspicious company calls department but the representative could not help me because she said I did not have the company name, the number does nothing for her. She also stated that they scam elderly mostly, and be aware. So they are taking advantage of our grandmothers and grandfathers etc....

I then called Discover and they said they couldn't do anything and don't have that type of department but they offered to watch my credit cards (all of them) and my credit report for suspicious activity for 30days for $12 and I declined.

So my last resort is to call credit breau and tell them to put a flag on my account. Meaning they will not accept any credit inquiries or open any accounts. Which is good because I won't be opeing any other credit cards or loans anytime soon.

The last time I had someone call and keep hanging up on me, I called my local police station and sure enough the guy right away started to look into it for me. He even called the company that kept hanging up and I never recived a call again. So that is what I'm going to do again with my cell phone.

The big question is getting someones address is the easy part but how do they get my cell? Do you guys have your cell number as your home number?

I didn't answer but my phone pick up the Lady said Hello Janice and I heard a lot of noise in back ground I tried to call the number back and all I got was a fax machine.
