I just got a call this afternoon and I (since I know they are gonna try to scam me) started to try to change her script into something more personal but she just insulted me and hung up. BTW she mentioned her name was MICHELLE. (with a funny accent)

Received many calls from (866) 823-6977 on my CELL PHONE, all of which are followed by a hang-up. When I try to return the call, I get a fax machine-like response. I suspect this is an automated calling system, for what purpose I don't know.

Trying to order truck parts from us for the past few days.  A supplier of ours alerted us to the problem

I just put the number into the call screening list, then I'll be peaceful.

I also have been receiving calls repeatedly from this number.
We are already on the do not call list.
Why would someone invest the time in being annoying.

Thank you for suggestion on call screening.  I reactively annoyed rather than proactively triumphant.

This phone number (866)823-6977 is so ANNOYING! When I answer I get a fax machine.... does anyone know that phone number to be on a national do not call list? Thank you.

keep getting this call from this phone #. said I was entered in a sweepstakes.  told them I wasn't interested in anything they were selling. They continued on, that it was just entering the sweepstakes and did I have a mastercard/visa, etc.  Told them NO THANKS.  they have called my cellphone that I have never ever given the number to anyone or on-line( I have never even given it to my employer!) They have called it FOUR times in the last 3 days. I call it back and it rings as if a fax #. Same type of beep!! SCAM!!!!!

I keep getting calls from this number. They have been happening since mid March, but at various dates. Now, since yesterday, I have gotten 8 calls from these scammers. They just call and as soon as I answer they hang up. I try to call back and yeah, it's a fax. I'm getting extremely upset about it.

Got one today...left my cell at home...I always look up strange numbers that I don't know...glad I didn't answer!!!

This is happened to me too... They would call me all the time and when i answer, they hung up... I caught them one time and i was angry so i got upset and yelled at him... He called back a second later and said..."SOMEONE NEEDS TO MIND THERE MANNERS"... I told him if he calls my number again, i will press charges against him and i will sue every last penny out of him.  I told him to take my name and number off of the list.  He never called back.

They called me twice today =/
Once during class around 11:30 am
And then again at 8:21pm.<br>
If they call again I will say something of the sort about suing and authorities.

That number calls my cell phone all the time, it is SO aggravating.  It happens multiple times daily and when I answer they hang up.  The same thing happened to me as all the other people when I try to call it back...It is a fax number.  Maybe I should try to fax something that says to stop calling me!!!

i got a call from this number a while back. but they always hung up. i started getting them yesterday two and once today i didnt answer i was i work tried callin back i got a fax machine. we should email chris hanson

they called again this time i answered. i said hello she asked for said that i was him. then in spanish she asked me if i spoked english. i just talked to her in english and she still asks. she must be really stupid. started tellin me all about the sweepstakes i told her that i read about them online i knew it was scam and that if they didnt stop botherin me i was gonna report them
she just laughed and hunged up. hopefully thatll stop the callas

Yeah I get that too.... it's so annyoing so I tell my parents about this and told them the number and they said to not answer it and I turn off the phone and never answer even if you tracfone cuse then all minutes go bye-bye for no reason I hate this!

I got this call on my cell phone.    No one answered when I picked up, USING MY MINUTES.............. GRRRR

Called at 12:49pm on Sept 10th 2007.
I just got a new number and have only given it out to one person, so when I saw the caller ID I ignored it. Glad I did.. found a lot of complaints when I Googled it.
