I've been receiving call from this number for the past few days. Because I did not recognize the number I did not answer, figuring that they could just leave a message.  They never left a message. So today I tried to call back and I just got static. This is so annoying. I want to know who keeps calling me.

I am sick and tired of these calls.I dont know how to get rid of this.

I get standard message : Party is trying to reach while i coonect please hold
and after few seconds says unable to reach i will try later" this is exactly the message i get Every day.

Today around 5:30pm, a man who sounded as if he was from India or somewhere in that region called my phone. I said "Hello", you know normal phone etiquette and he screamed back "Hello, Hello, Hello". This is Day #2 that I have received phone calls from what seems to be the same guy, but this time a different number showed up. This is really frustrating because I have NO idea who this guy is or how he even got my number, to be perfectly honest.

An Indian guy calls me and says "Hello, Mr. David?" I said "No, this is Caleb." "Oh, Kevin? How are you today, sir?" After that I just hung up. I've been receiving calls from this area code frequently.

Got a call for my mother who passed away 12 years ago!  He refused to give any info on why he was calling and was very rude.  When I tried calling back to the number on the caller ID there was not answer.

Asked me if I had student loans greater than 10,000.  I do, but told him no.  He said ok and hung up.  Called 2 times a day for 3 days till I answered.

At 9:50 a.m today, 6 Sept. 2007, phone rings, I see it is a toll free #, but decide I'll answer it today, and have them take my name off their list. As this number calls quite regularly....... so I ans.. "Hello"...... no ans. "Hello, Hello, Hello," then the little 'guy' from across the sea ans.."Hello,hello,hello,hello"....... I say, "Yes, HELLO".... "I want to give you a medical card"........ I say, "WHAT??? did you say a Medical card?".. "yes,yes,a medical card"  "I don't need a medical card"....."Yes,yes you do".............and he keeps on 'chattering' but I interrupt him and I say, quite loudly, as I can't understand the 'creep'....... "I DO NOT understand you, are YOU speaking English? and where are you calling from, INDIA????????"  I wait for an answer, he hung up. I called the number back again.... no ans. just quiet. again, same thing, I did that about 4 times.......  WHAT can I do.......?? thanks..

1-866-828-0261 just called today 09/06/07 14:27 Middle East/Sub Continent sounding man asking for my daughter.When I asked who he was He asked,"Are you her father or brother..?".I asked again who he was and the phone went dead.Calls to that number get static and then a disconnect.

I have gotten a call the last 2 days from this number 866 828 0261.  The man sounds like he's from India. asked for my son both days Hard to understand him when I asked him to repeat what he said, he hangs up. Cant call back re static and disconnection.  Think I might tell him tomorrow Im the person he's looking for and see what he wants.

called my cellphone twice. One missed, one was no answer.

We had several calls from this number and 866-383-0986 and 466-9456 All sounded indian and wanted to do a refinance. After reporting them to phone co. and BBB they told us to get a whistle and just blow it when they called.  My husband did this and after 2 times blowing the whistle they have not called back..!!

If they keep calling try getting a whistle and blow into the phone.
we were getting the same calls and my husband did this and the calls have stopped
