Keeps calling my cell and won't leave a msg.  8-10 times per day!

Is doing the same to my cell.  Had my boss answer it and they asked for Laurie.  Told them to remove us from their call list and don't call this phone again.  Not sure if it will work but if they persist I will block their number through my carrier.

Ok so just as I figured they have continued to call even after requesting that they stop.

One more thing - I just blocked my number and called this number back.  A woman answered and asked for a 16 digit Capital One account number.  I don't have a Capital One account and never have had one.  Didn't bother to say anything but I think the next time they call my cell I will ask who is calling and then tell them that the conversation is being recorded along with the number they are calling from and then I will advise them not to call again or I will turn over to the authorities.  I will then block that number through my cell carrier.

I've gotten 3 calls from this number in the last 24 hours, all asking for someone named Mary (not me). They continue to call after I tell them it's a wrong number, so I'm guessing scumbag collection agency of some sort.

This number has called my cell 8 times in less than 24 hours.  They call from 8 in the morning until 9 at night.  They have not left a single message.

I receive calls from this number at least ten times per day.  The first and only time I answered they asked for someone unknown to me.

See my prior post.  They just called again and I was able to find out that the caller is Alliance One, which identifies itself as a financial institution.  When I asked what kind of financial institution the caller refused to answer.

I googled Alliance One and it is a "receivables management" company (e.g. debt collection).

They have been tryin to call me for months.  I used to answer it and they always ask for Hope.  I quit answering until the other day

I receive calls from this # at least 6 to 10 times a day they say they are from Capital One .I don't even have a Capital One card.I am getting sick of this and want to know how to stop it !!!!!!!

I have 6 different numbers calling my cell every hour every day for the last few months, and when I do answer, they ask for Melinda (don't know a Melinda and I never have known a Melinda) and when I say that they hang up! Always leaves blank voicemails and i just called and requested they stop calling my number and sortof yelled at them, and i now feel alot better!! thinking its from some place in India that's calling me, because everyone I talk to has an Indian accent.  Lets just see if yelling at these people works...

This is a Capitol One Agency. They will aggravate you even AFTER you made arrangements with them. They called me on THIS day 8 times every hour on the hour! They dont care but this is a Capitol One thing. Here is a list of numbers they called me from.

Received a call from this number today, 8:30 am.  A woman asked for my "ex-husband" (from eleven years ago).  My number has never been associated with his last name; my number is listed under my maiden name!  Makes me wonder now, after reading the other posted messages.  The woman had an India accent, I could hardly understand who she was asking for.  I said I had never heard of him!

Calls up to 12 times a day for a Tammy. No one here by that name, but they keep calling.  Using different numbers but still asking for Tammy.

They keep calling here asking for the former owner of the house, but only her first name. They always have a foreign accent like described above and don't state the nature of their call. When I say that noone by the name XY lives here they ask: "do you know her?" How weird is that!
We also get the blank voicemails...
Is there really nothing we can do? I asked to be removed from the list but they won't do that.
