Called from a different number but asking to call back this number. Left the following message:

“Yes this is Jennifer Miller and um I'm calling in reference to your federal student loan I need to discuss your repayment options with some new changes set of _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ affect recently so if you could please be sure to give me a call my number is 866-840-7447 and then I'm going to give you a reference number if you would please have the Sandy when you call back that would be very helpful your reference number is 80811 thank you…”

Obvious scam.

Received the same call from Jennifer Miller in reference to my student loans with a reference number of 80811.

Exactly the same here, even the "um" in the message.  No one at our number has a student loan. Even if we did, the reference number is exactly the same as those above.

I received the same call today. Along with the same message and reference number.

I received the same message, call back number and reference number as everyone else. I have student loans BUT they will mail or email me my options through my account. Never do they call.

Same exact message - sheesh - they could have at least changed the reference number...lol

Same as every other comment on here, Jennifer Miller with exact same reference number. Pretty sure it's just a recording they play over and over.

Same exact message including the reference number, also got a call same voice slight different wording but same message with a reference of 04042 and her name was Lori Robbins 866.565.9119

So I actually called the number.  My loan were recently bought by a new company so I wasn't certain if they had any different protocol about calling.
 They asked if my loan was over $10,000.  Then asked if it was in Defferal or Delinquent.  The second I said it was in Defferal, as I am looking for a job.  They said "Sorry I cannot help you." And promptly hung up.  I called back 3 times (since, at first, I want to be clear I wasn't asking for help but returning THEIR call).  Each time, as soon as I wasn't "qualified" they hung up.  Clearly they are looking to refinance delinquent student loans, and their calls are being timed.

Jennifer Miller gave me the same reference number. 80811. I will be blocking this number.

Interesting how all of us have the same reference number.  80811.  You would think if legit, the reference number would be unique to me........  Hmmm.   Definitely blocking number.

Same exact call from Jennifer Miller and same reference number 80811. Called back just to see what it was.  When I selected the option for under 10,000 loan it told me I wasn't eligible.  When I called back and selected the option for over $10,000 I got a person stating their agent id and asking my name.  I responded with a question of my own and they hung up on me.  Obvious scam.

Same as all the 9ther comments, Jennifer Miller leaves a message with the ref number 80811 saying that we need to discuss my loan repayment optio,s and there have been changes made we need to go over. They have called so many times it is ridiculous, I cannot even believe this is legal.

I got the same call from Jennifer Miller and the same reference number 80811. You would think these morons would change the ref number. So obvious it’s a scam.

Why would they need to change the reference #? It would only matter if someone was comparing notes. Only 17 posts in this thread. Now out of the thousands of calls they make, how many don't compare notes?
