at least it puts you more in control  ...  and find a way in your system to forward immediately go to voice mail for the hours  you'd like that.   Magic Jack is no joke  ...  cheap and you are in more control ... and I'd hope either useful for a wall phone or like me thru  my computer  ...  so no changing billing if you travel and want total control of when you want the phone to ring and pay 35/Yr  or I got my 5-year plan for $69.  But I think rates have gone up since 2012.

Automated call from United Blood Services about my upcoming blood donation. Reading the comments, it seems that this number can be used for anything and everything. Doesn't seem that there will ever be any good info about who is or isn't calling, since there are at least 10 different companies listed on the first page alone!

I received a call and voice message from this number on my cell phone.  It was United Health Care calling to remind me of a phone appointment I have with them on tuesday.  This was legitimate for me.

it was a very bad recorded message but i got the word blood in there so I think it is the local blood bank wanting me to donate again. I called the # and it didn't ID as the blood bank but gave the opportunity to remove my # so I did.

I think laws should change. If you are legitimate business you should be required to use your companies name and reachable number and leave a message on the answering service as to why you called. Too many companies don't do this so we don't answer any of them. I know criminals can change this and spoof call people but this way the legitimate companies can be notified that criminals are using their name and number.

Confirming that the number is currently being used by United Blood Services.  "Megan" asks you to "call 1-877-UBS-HERO. Thank you for your future donation. ". Yes, I have donated blood at work, so I'm on their list.

I received a call from this phone number on my cell. I did not answer because I did not recognize the number, and no caller ID displayed. But the call was legit. It was from my health insurance company, United Healthcare. They left a voice message reminding me of an upcoming wellness call.

I answer and  the other party did not answer back. ID said Unavailable. So, since no one answer.  I just said, Good by A whole. Don't call if don't reply.

I just got a call and voicemail from this number. It was a recorded reminder from United Blood Services that I have an appointment to donate blood this week. For that purpose, it's a legitimate call.

This number was a call from CVS Caremart reminding me I need to take the assessment for a job application I filled out

This was an auto dealer call from Quinsigamond community college.

I'm assuming whatever program they use shares this number with multiple companies.

It was United Health Care  reminding me of an appointment.   They are my health insurance company.

This was a recording from the Community Blood Center looking for blood donations after Hurricane Matthew.  Legit call, as they called the number I gave when my daughter donated.

Got a call from this number but I didn't pick up. Voicemail said it was from United Blood Services. These people used to call me daily and never removed me from their list even though I asked them to stop multiple times. I'll donate when I want to. Calling me and leaving a voicemail doesn't do a thing.
