Possible mortgage loan scam / aggressive refi agents. Got a mail notice from "Mortgage Servicing Center" to call this number for "a matter of importance relating to my mortgage".

Received an email with this contact, content is the same as the phone call Alex received above

I keep getting junk mail from these idiots claiming they have been trying to get a hold of me

Same as Alex. I got a "Final notice" in the mail for "a matter of importance relating to your mortgage." It listed my loan id, lender, amount and closing date and said to call this number for the mortgage servicing center. This is NOT the customer service number of my lender. Don't fall for this scam.

Same here receive a "matter of importance relating to your mortgage"... have no idea who they are. I will not call them back

Same Same. Received a postcard from HUD-HOUSING . All a scam to take a high interest loan. They are all vultures.

I got a notice in the mail the envelope presented itself as "Indiana Hsng & Cmnty Dev Auth"  Same message "a matter of importance" Recieved May 10, 2022.  It did not have any information about my Mtg as others have reported..

Receive a letter in the mail "We have been attempting to contact you regarding a matter of importance relating to your mortgage"... This has SCAM written all over it. They have my previous lender listed, as my current lender, wrong closing date as well. They list my closing date as 18 days earlier. I will not call them back @ 866-853-8413 Mortgage Servicing Center

I actually received first class mail with this phone number on it, no return address.  Very clearly bogus because I see my mortgage agent every Sunday and if there was a problem with my mortgage I would have heard about it by now from someone I know.

We got the same letter today.  5.19.22 These scanners are really convincing and undoubtedly are actually collecting on this.

Letter received today having all that same info.  Scary how they can do this and people actually fall for it.

We received the same mailed correspondence pretending to be from our new mortgage financer. The bottom line reads "Not affiliated with or endorsed by any bank or lending institution. Information concerning your mortgage is obtained only through public records." They are not legit. DO NOT give them any personal information.

We received a letter by mail like Alex, Dan & others. We won't waste our time with this scam.

Definitely a scam.  Does anyone know the institution that is sending these?  I'd like to figure out and see what can be done to stop it.  Innocent people are probably going to fall for this.
