Lorraine from Global Web (or something similar) in British Columbia looking for the business owner.

A company called Webnet Global..sounds shady.
They deploy a wireless network. Private company. If you buy shares you can't sell them. The company is bonifide, however sounds VERY RISKY to me.

Btw, I am an accountant and IT Geek.

This guy called with company named Web Network Global.  Something about 3D Ad presentation = sound like telemarketing as usual.

I got the same call...asking to buy shares at 2 dollars per......and the min you gotta buy is 2500 shares so you gotta put in 5000 dollars.....i went to their presentation though seemed really cool...but i dunno...any advice????

I've been getting calls also from this number also, the company is called "Web Net", asking for the owner of the company I work for.  Said they are "offering founding shares" in their company.

Yeah, right.  That, and swamp land in Florida.

i am an it nerd myself what they've done is basically daisy-chained a bunch of wi-fi signal boosters to create a very slow unreliable star topology to cover cities or towns this company will be shot to hell once wireless y is launched (6 mile range only takes 1 tour as opposed to their costly 6+)

not to mention half the people that work their have invested into the company they're are [***] [***] i assure you.

Webnet Global is a scam.

The company is closing down and the whole company was layoff.

Is listed in the security commission of BC and the owners had participation in other scam with charity and time shares.

I work there for a year, I got layoff 2 weeks ago and they still own me the last two salarie and etc.

Do not invest money in this company!!!!!

Yep, we are all upset about the whole thing. We all wondered everyday if it was all legit because they made us say only certain things when we would call the investors on the phones and they wouldn't tell us anything or give us any information that we all asked about everyday. Sure enough everybody lost out on our money we invested and our final paychecks. Exactly what we all started to sense was going to happen. All the signs were starting to show but it was too late. I worked in the San Diego call center for the last year.

watch these evil guys.  they took millions of dollars thanks to Darren Weeks ( so called canadian Rich dad).  Greg the CEO of this company has homes in mexico and money off shore.  he drives mercedes.  They took my 50K and no contracts no documents.
